Thieving, Murdering and downright Scoundrel-ism : help.

Recently started to bash through the Dark BroHood and Thieves Guild achievements in-game. I'm a MagDK and have no cloak, but this is my main and I need to get it done.

I am enjoying it, pick-pocketing, murdering and stealing etc, avoiding guards and creeping up on folk.

Anyway: Is anyone aware of any sets I could get hold of to give me an edge in this, any particular areas which are a good place to practice and farm or just any pointers for a budding villain such as myself?

You’ll get rewarded with 2 potions, Rogue Stealth and Rogue Escape. Use them. Until you get a stockpile make a few invisible potions. You can do a lot of actions during the effect and it doesn’t break you out of stealth.

Night Silence is a good one Night Terror only require 3 pieces, Night Mothers Embrace (medium/stamina), and Shadow Dancers Raiment (light armor/Magicka) are the sets you’ll need.

Thanks guys, I am a stage 4 vamp with all the passives, I'll go grab myself some Night Terror later for the radius bonus.

Any zones that are particularly ideal for stealing etc?

I've been enjoying breaking and entering into Summerset houses in Shimmerene and Alinor. Good loot in there plus safeboxes to loot once the NPC's are dead. *Nods.*

This one just wants some more tall elf silk sheets to shred for sleeping nest. OwO

Vvardenfell NPCs. There are 3 motif sets only available through pickpocketing. Find a place to run a rotation of NPCs and pickpocket until you get a motif. Learn or sell the motif and make a nice amount from the other loot picked up in the process.

If you're serious about it - and if you are I would highly recommend a magicka nightblade for that - you'll want to work up your legerdemain before worrying a lot about zones. High legerdemain impacts what you get on the theft loot tables, so the sooner you get it to 20, the better. This is not something that can be "power leveled" overnight because there is a limit on how much you can fence each day. That should tell you another priority right there - grab the passive that increase how much you can fence (called trafficker) ASAP, especially the first rank. Each day, grab enough provisioning ingredients from containers around cities to hit your daily limit. If you're on xbox, I can show you a way of doing this more efficiently, but it will still take time one way or another.

Once legerdemain is at 20, everywhere is good for stealing, honestly. Where you go depends on how much you care about having a character with a permanently high bounty. As a general rule, the lower the initial pickpocket chance value on your target, the better loot table they will have.

Night Terror was already mentioned. Combine it with Night Mother's Embrace and you will be nearly undetectable for NPCs.

Yeah, I'll try that. I have a Magblade, but the DK is my main. I am trying to do everything in the list on this one toon, hence my struggle.
