I see in the forums here that I can edit my username and even email add. Does this mean I can change my user ID to something I'd prefer? I thought I read you had to call customer service and yet I'm seeing options to change username right here in my profile settings. Any help is appreciated, I can't be the only one wondering about this.

✭✭✭✭✭You can change your userID, but it is a complicated process that involves calling customer support. Zenimax only recently changed their policy on this(before it was not possible to change your userID or the email your account is tied to).Edited by Sharee on March 30, 2014 8:14PM0 -

MyForumName✭✭Thanks for the help. You'd think by default they'd have you change your forum name so it doesn't match your account userid but maybe simple net security is left to the end user and not even close to being a consideration of theirs. That makes me wonder if this is the next diablo 3 hack fest in that regard. I hope not.0
