passives critical chance

I have some questions regarding spell critical chances, especially those that come from templar passive skills.
For example, mending from restoring light.Or piercing spear from aedric spear.
It says that it gives a % to crit chance while using a skill from an appropriate skill line.
Is this a spell chance i suppose since the skills from these lines are either spell attacks or heals?
Does this stack with the 20% spell crit from the mages guild inner light skill?or from the 10% from the prodigy light armor skill?Even more,do these two stack together?
I mean,a light armor templar with inner light, will he have 30% spell crit chance and that will go up to 60% from mending if you use a restoring light skill(while low on health of course)?
Similar, will the biting jabs skill that gives 70% crit on low health enemy, hit 100% crit with this setup?

Also, for restoration staff passive, cycle of life,it says it gives 10% damage when you're full health. Is this physical damage, spell damage, both?Cause if it is spell damage, will it also affect heals?

And one last question :) :
When you cast a DoT or a HoT,does the spell crit chance applies to every tick or not?And what would happen if for example, you cast a HoT with 30% crit chance and then close the inner light that gives 20%?will the ticks go on with the percentage the spell had when it was casted or will it change to the new one?
And by the way, when we say 'crit',how much exactly is the multiplier?x2?is there a way to make it more?
Lots of questions but since we literally have no indication on our numbers...

    I'll give this a shot.
-When an ability does not specify which type of crit is increasing, assume both unless context dictates otherwise. In this case, Mending will work off of spell critical since all ally-targeting heals in the tree use the same, and Biting Jabs will increase weapon crit since its a weapon-like spell (I could be wrong about this).
-Inner Light, Prodigy, and any other bonuses to the same type of critical do stack, and it is possible to get over 100% critical chance.
-I think that you are correct about spell crit in your example, but with Biting Jabs keep in mind that its up to 70%. To get the maximum bonus, the target will be nearly dead anyway.
-Not sure about Cycle of Life. If it increased weapon damage, then it would help healing (Resto staff heals scale off weapon damage and magicka). If its just a bonus to damage dealt, it would not.
-Every tick has a chance to crit.
-Not sure how it would change, but I think the tick uses the crit percentage you have when the tick happens.
-Crit multiplier is 1.5. The Shadow Mundus Stone can increase damage by 15%, but there aren't any other ways to my knowledge.

If you want better information (including numbers), go Tamriel Foundry and download Foundry Tactical Combat (FTC). Its a great add-on, and will help give you some of the incites that you're looking for. You should also check out Mystborns "ESO Unraveled" series on youtube.

    Hope that helps!

I have FTC and critical 40% but never see a *number* heal (which indicates critical like damage). Can someone confirm that this is actually doable?
