A LOT comes down to group comp and opponents you’re up against and if they counter your playstyle. Given that I’m going to reply a little differently and say which class and play styles have the biggest impact from a pvp healer perspective:

MagDK - best front line tankish type with good offense
NB healer - best BG healer
MagSorc - best damage dealer if they play aggressively, the ones who’re too passive are dead weight.

About passive mag sorcs, by too passive I mean the ones who don’t play well in a team. They’ll go for a burst combo, and then run away mid battle and leave their team mates to keep fighting. Probably poor pvp spec and lack sustain or something, I don’t understand why they do it but I’d rather not have them on my team. Just as bad as a magblade or stamblade with this style.

I’m surprised I don’t see more good magwardens. The tools are there but I think the best pvp dps types prefer sorcs so it’s a meta thing. Magwardens should be better for group play but if you get a weak team all doing their own thing a sorc is stronger. So I think magwarden is better for group play, but supporting a poor group is unrewarding. Sorcs can do well regardless of your group so people prefer playing sorcs.

I think that’s also why there’s less DKs then you’d think there’d be given how strong they are. No execute means if you have a weak team who think BGs are for dueling it’s hard to finish people off and get killing blows.

Magblades are weak. There are some really good players who are holding out and keep playing it, but they’d probably do better on another class. I’ve seen some do well but never dominate.

Magtemplars are an all around good class, can’t pump out as much burst as a sorc and tank as well as a DK but very good at both. Always a class I like to see on my team. No contest best hybrid damage-healing class.
