My bosmer is DK, so i don't have cloak. So I quit using stealth at all on wood elf and for stealthy things now use my huge Nord nightblade with zero investment to stealth and zero pleasure from it.

It seems, to me, the eventual goal is to make ALL races as close to the same thing, in ALL things, as possible. This way, choosing a Character for development won't matter, they'll all be identical. Won't that be fun.

    And the game died.

So, can the horse stop being beaten then?

Change isn't effected, by ignoring it or not talking about it. If this isn't "your kind of thread"? Go make your own, K? This is a place for gamers to give their opinions, and relay how changes in the game effect THEM.

So, to answer your question? No, we can't. Not when the horse isn't really dead, it's just been paralyzed to LOOK dead, in an attempt to stop all discussion on the matter.

They are perfectly happy breaking lore as long as the top 1% streamers/class reps get to play the game the way they want (How it feels with lack of communication). Those people don't care about race or lore, they just want better numbers to attract more viewers. The fact that the game clearly states in multiple sources Argonians are resistant to poison, and they removed it is a good example of ignoring established lore.

What's funny is that they could give Bosmer the stealth back on top of the stealth detection and everything else, and the 1% isn't going to play Bosmer because it's not a good race mechanically.

Unless you go bow/bow, you might as well go Redguard because they're passives are all superior except for the lack of poison resistance. As long as you can do a single melee attack every 5 seconds, Redguard have higher sustain (effectively 360 vs Bomser's 258) and their abilities cost less stamina in the first place. Sure a Bosmer can dodge roll, but trading 3000 stamina for what is usually a 2-3% effective damage increase is not worth it in the least.

And then of course Orcs are just better in all regards since their always on weapon damage boost is worth twice what the Bosmer have to waste stamina on.

Hunter's Eye is on par with Spell Recharge for being the worst racial passive in the game and at least Spell Recharge gives you a resource back instead of costing a ton of it.

Agree. Yet, as with my Wood Elf, it's not just for combat.I think what bothers me the most, and, as myself, and a few others have mentioned now as well, is the fact that this "change", (and, let's be honest, it's more like a severance, say, losing an arm, or a leg, you know, something you actually NEED, with the lower combat ratings, other than the solo stealth attacks), seems to have been enacted, for the FEW, not the masses.

Fine, we are not paying them 1k a month buying out every item them put in the crown story. ZOS is ALREADY making monies, never before made in gaming history. Facts they NEVER relay to the public. I mean, come on people, games used to be 20 bucks, NEW. With TONS of content. Things like, say KOTOR, or the like. An awesome game. What they've done, is exchange great, fully made games, for games they can release, that are "incomplete", meaning there will ALWAYS be things you will need/want, and they KNOW this, so they hold them out, till the right moment, then BAM! Here, buy THIS! Everyone will have it!! And it's only 14 THOUSAND Crowns, (or, around 120.00 RL dollars).

So, in their greed, IMO, they cater to those who pay bank to them, (and I've paid MY OWN share, though, being disabled it's not what THEY pay), so, their "Banker/Wallstreet" players, get to call the shots, on what's in the game, and what's not.

What I'm REALLY thinking, saying? ZOS KNEW the majority opinion on this, going in. I've seen the posts around the web. The majority was NEVER for this.

Result? Down the line, down one financial avenue or another, ZOS will offer Bosmer BACK their stealth. They'll just have to pay for it, is all. Probably in steps, Can get more gold/crowns/crown gems/RL money, that way, don't cha know.

I'm standing by the theory that there's something coming for thieving in Elsweyr. They've hinted at it before, and I feel like it would be appropriate for everyone to be just as viable as eachother in a pretty sizable aspect of the game IF they're willing to put skill points into it.

I'm a bosmer and I don't like the changes, but I'd rather see stealth expanded on in a way every race can benefit than only bosmer getting 3 yards on stealth back.

I see your point, however, don't you think taking from one race, so that others can now be Wood Elves, (as EVERY race is supposed to have their own, special abilities, that make them Unique, and makes them a necessity, when in group events), is a better way to have Unity?

See, every race is not supposed to benefit. That's the idea of life, of Mother Nature. One thing has this, that this other thing needs, so they must work together, if they wish to benefit.

Stealth is just part of what Bosmer are. You can't take your arm, and give it to a Redguard, just because they wish to have 3 hands. That leaves you crippled, and them with an abundance.

See, when you eventually end up, where "give each race what the other has, you know, just so they can FEEL better, or not have to WORK at something), What you get? Is WAY more separation, WAY more "shutting others out". Why? Because clicks then form. They don't NEED another player, because EVERY player, is the SAME.

So, instead of maybe taking that noobie, that's just learning the game, and helping them along, because YOU BOTH BENEFIT, They get to learn the game, the Vets get the job they needed, NOW, They blow that noobie off, and just go with those they know, or like, or whatever. This is for the Group side of things.

For the Solo side, which is what I do these days? They removed one of my limbs, making what I've always done, next to impossible to achieve, unless they give us something else, that isn't WORTHLESS.

In 3 years, do you know how many times' I've used "stealth detect", to see "hidden" mobs or players? ZERO. Not once. And I already have all the speed I need. So, for myself? This was a lose/lose. I hope this helps you see my side of all this, too. Thanks for responding.

You said yourself the game is dead, (past tense) so I don't understand why you continue complaining about a dead game.

I was looking at your post they closed about refining rng - did your attorney get the results you wanted from ESO customer service?

Really? I said that? "The game is dead"? Show me where I said this. I said something else. Maybe try reading.

See, you can't stand the fact that I actually came back at your statement "Can the horse stop being beaten now", meaning, the old idiom expression "Beating a dead horse"- suggesting that my entire post shouldn't exist, as it has been discussed/solved or is pointless.

Being this is NEW, for this race, and has actually been implemented, makes it very relevant.

But not for YOU. So, I suggest you go comment somewhere else, since YOU don't like it. But this is America. And I'm free to discuss whatever I like, as long as I'm not harming anyone else, and the fact there are others, who feel the same as I do.

THIS is how solutions and alternatives are brought to light, from intelligent people, who understand that discussion is where solutions are found, not by some random person, who doesn't like a particular thread, attempting to throw dissension into the discussion, all while offering not a single solution or alternative.

I've even come up with a couple myself that could be used, that I've NEVER seen before.

As far as your other query? That's none of your business, and NOT something ever mentioned in this thread.

I believe ShadowWolf is talking about the future path of these changes will bring. Or Future Tense.
Not Present Tense, the current state of the game.

I see, he incorrectly used the past tense when meaning to use the future tense - and then told me to "maybe try reading" lol.

Really? His post was obviously speaking as if it was made in the future. He's speaking as if it's months/years down the road, so the past tense makes sense.

I would reading what was written in context and not trying to misinterpret it so that you think you are right.
