It doesn't sort, but Craft Store's trait tracking will, manually, cull down to ONE example of each trait/item. So, for example, if you have two well-fitted shoes, only one will be marked for research. (You do need to turn on tracking in the main UI, and by default it won't mark set items for research, but that can be toggled in their options menu.) It will ALSO track which items you have on its own UI, so you can see, at a glance, what you do have available for research. Again, if you're wanting to sort out, "do I have this trait or not?" Craft Store does have you covered.
