    not often someone changes my opinion on something.

    I would say the majority of zos does actually care most about the customer and an enjoyable experience

    combat team tho..... my answer still stand until we really get to see brians work

    The recent "racial rebalance" was a testament to that.

    Such a poor excuse for the lore-shattering changes they pushed through. Nothing like tossing aside decades of rich, established lore to support your "vision."

    Not like people play The Elder Scrolls for that silly lore anyway. No, of course not...

    They should prioritize money. That helps them stay in business. The key is to do that without destroying the game or the playerbase in the process. That's the real trick.

    Any business comes down to money, but they have to keep all the other aspects in focus to keep the money rolling in.

    This is basic business and nothing special with Zos. It is the same where you work.

    I don't consider "ZoS" <I am going to assume you mean the ones directly involved with ESO> on a one side track. They wouldn't bother with half the stuff they do. They could have pulled a TSW and released literally 8 quest line only DLC. No dungeons, no raids, just random solo story crap.

    Guess what happened to that game.

    This is no secret. The fact that they lock certain mounts behind RNG scam crates, which someone could spend thousands of dollars on and still not get the one they want says it all.

    one is not mutually exclusive to the other - of course as a company they want to maximize profits but any company realises you can only do that by making players happy...and i also get the feeling that zos has overall a good grasp of the games and when to give in to player demands and when not to listen to every whining

    Come visit Karth's Glitter Box, Khajiit's home. Fully stocked guild hall done in sleek Khajiit stylings, with Grand Master Stations, Transmute, Scribing, Trial Dummies, etc. Also has 2 full bowling alleys, nightclub, and floating maze over Wrothgar.(Pariah's Pinacle)

    Depends on department.

    However I would say most of the ZOS dev teams (the ones we all know the names of) care about making ESO a great game.

    The ones people get all salty about and pushing monetisation above gameplay people probably couldn't even name.

    The company / developers care about the game, the publisher and PMs care about the money, they need a good return on marketing, and developmental cost.

    I honestly dont think they care about anything. They cant even make money successfully. They treat everything like its a chore, ask for something and it gets implemented badly with some awful trade-off. Ask them to fix something,they break something else. They just dont follow through.

    I mean, we got murkmire for free didn't we. So I'd say it's a balance between Money and the Player, although that's starting to drop since we ain't getting more freebie crates anymore. Wish I could say they cared more about the lore though..
    All over Tamriel, theres a sudden spike in Bosmers getting caught for their crimes. A sad day indeed... #FightForYourRite Give Bosmers back our stealth!
