I know it’s supposed to take longer, but mine has been loading for 40 minutes (longer than it took me to instal the 49gb update). Anyone else having this issue? How long did it take? Xbox one BTW.

✭✭✭✭✭For PC after hour 😓 many of us just restarted. In fact I did so after 30mins and got into game right after. Though mind you official advice is wait but could be hours.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭It really varies. Based on my inventory I expected a long time. I waited a day and the log in was fast.
Tasear's advice is pretty good. Just be glad this is a once time deal. lol

mazeikeen✭✭✭Yeah, as @Tasear said, it can take hours. It's different for everyone, but the amount of items in your character's inventory, bank and mailbox are supposed to affect it.
Weirdly enough, I'm having the opposite problem. Upon selecting a character, I get a really short load screen and then I get dumped back into the character select screen
I submitted a support ticket, but as it's an update day PLUS a new DLC launch... I'm not optimistic. Lol.

I get that on pc sometimes (no particular reason or repeatable thing either). When it happens I restart the client, and it's usually fine again for a long time. Happened once today; was the first time in a couple months.2 -

Unfortunately, neither restarting the game nor my Xbox fixed it
I even took a break for a few hours in case it was server issues, but it's still doing it. Hopefully whatever is going on sorts itself out. Wanted to at least get my event tickets today. XBOX-NA / PC-NA

✭Make sure to pay a monthly sub. Buy lots of crowns and keep paying them cash. They will surely improve performance and make sure to implement all the changes you desire. The past and present confirm this.
