I don't know why the decision was made. It makes no sense.
But my favourite characters are ruined now. All the time I spent investing in them is wasted because they have had their stealth bonuses removed.There is no point in playing those characters anymore, so I'll be uninstalling and returning the game.

Besides that, you are rather late noticing this. PTS patch notes start getting posted 5 weeks before the patch goes live on PC/Mac, 7 weeks before everyone else gets it. That offers plenty of time for constructive feedback, which means a little more than just "I do not like it".
The forums are also pretty active with discussion of the changes during that time. So, visit the forums more often.

This is BS. Detection radius increased evreywhere, you can't pickpocket or steal in few meters of guard anymore. In PVP all gank builds received huge nerf with this changes, though i'm not telling that this is bad.5 -
