why?? its not ZOS' Job to take care for the AddOns when changing things, it's the job from the AddOn creators, to adapt the AddOns to the current changes

Addons should not break from something this simple. I could understand them not functioning completely when a large update is pushed but this is an incremental update.

So they just should not fix things because they might affect addons?

I am not a programmer nor writing scripts, but like everyone else, I know well enough, that small changes in database or any code, can break down alot.

Nope. There was a major database change, as advised IN RED ON THE LOGIN SCREEN. All addon creators had to re-write and I THINK get re-approved for new update release. AGS is in technical BETA, apparently pending approval.
Sorry, there were API and library changes too. My understanding and buzzword bingo-ness is exhausted now.

... patience there, digger.

Theres TOS and ther's good cusomter practice
yes they can do what they like

As an addon writer, I'm going to white knight this one because it does not feel like a deliberate situation. It feels like something changed that was unintended. Unfortunately, if the addon writers cannot work around it, there is no quick fix.

I hear you on the unintentional bit, but then this is poor quality control; which seems to be the norm for the entire video game industry nowadays.
