Battleground Bugging out Every Night

I've been doing Battleground runs with all of my characters this entire week and I have found one thing that is constant and annoying.
Between the hours of 8pm to midnight EST, I cannot get into a single Battleground match that will start. It gets stuck on the "Waiting for more players" message.
These 2 scenarios are the most frequent in my case:
-There are 2 full teams and one team with no players so match will not start
-There are players in all teams but there are only 2 people in each team
If you stay and wait, no one else will join and everyone will eventually get booted thus resulting in everyone getting a battleground deserter penalty.
It's so frequent that it's becoming a major problem. It's happening around the same time every single night now. If I find a Battleground match prior to 8pm EST, I usually have no problems finding a match that starts. The problem I'm facing is being able to get to play prior to 8pm EST due to work thus having to wait sometimes up to 2 hours before getting a BG that will actually start.
Honestly, people should not get a BG deserter penalty if the match has not started or will not start but that's my personal opinion.

Absolutely agree.
I find it strange and odd it's occurring during what is supposed to be prime time. There should be no problems finding players.
I think the map gets bugged preventing players from actually joining.0 -

No, it's been happening on all of my alts even my CP toons. The map I got last night with my CP toon was the Eld Angvar map.
It's really strange how this is happening. When I first join, I'm in either a group of 1 other person or by myself. If I hit F5 and watch the screen, the person who leaves will get replaced almost immediately but no one will join the other teams at all so we get stuck with the "Waiting for players" message.
It's almost as if the game thinks those teams are already full thus not allowing any one to join those teams or if the players are there but in a different instance.
It's really hard to explain.0
