Housing needs some TLC what are your top things you would like to see done?

With the costs of being a homeowner in beautiful Tamriel, I feel there should be some things that need to be added but I would really like your input, as well. I know some of these have been mentioned before so excuse me if they are reiterated.

• Poseable Mannequins for our PvP and PvE gear. This would not only look cool but would also be a great writ reward or crown store item with bases based on the different fractions and the individual races cultures. Plus, a small reasonable amount of storage as perk to boot. Is there any other ideas you would have for mannequins?

• Don't know if this could be done but being able to ride mounts on our wonderful property or properties with friends and those that mean something even more would be really fantastic. And especially for me who is in a rush to break gear down. It really would be lots of fun hopping around on our own personal playgrounds.

• Weddings!! We have the outfits and decorations that far beat any of the crowded locations, so I would like to see a functioning shrine of Mara to exchange rings amoung guildies and friends. So you could have your special day or days in peace.

• New interactions with our furnishings is sorely needed. Yes, I know beds but what other interactions would you like to have for your immersion?

• A Toggle to turn all lights on or turn them off.

• The ability to sell our beloved homes.

• Memorial Statues, Urns, headstones, and plaques that can have a customized name on them for those we wish to remember. Something to make our homes even more dear.

• Moving animals to give life to our lands or have as your own personal zoo or aquarium. Yes, you can already put your pets, mounts, and friends in cages. But it would still be nice to have a variety of critters just for our homes. Any special ones you would like to see added?

• For vampys, a whole decorating set with different styled coffins that actually allow you to lay in them in a proper vampire pose and close the lid. A pair of blood thirsty guardian dogs of the damned with glowing red eyes to protect you while you're in dreamland, and let's not forget a blood bar to change the current stage when in a rush. I know I would grab that glass coffin and base holding it in a heartbeat. A lot of people want such items but what would you like added for your undead characters?

• Since Hunter's Glade let's you stay in your werewolf form indefinitely, which is it's selling point I don't think they will allow that anywhere else. Though what would you like if anything for you werewolf lovers to make your homes more enjoyable?

There are lots of threads like this but I'm always glad to see more of them....because ZOS needs to see them and realize that they are really falling down on the job when it comes to player housing.

The most frequent requests are increased item slots and increased player capacity for homes across the board. When housing first launched and there was a great outcry over these limits ZOS eventually said they would "look into" increasing those limits...and has never said another thing about it since...closing in on 2 years now.

Other things folks, including myself, have asked for...

A day/night toggle
versions of our mounts NOT wearing their saddles and other tack
MORE placeable NPCs. We got the weird soul shriven dude and that was it.
More medium sized houses instead of huge ones that are impossible to decorate properly because of the item slot limits
More building materials like doorways, stairs and walls in all the cultural styles.

The list really does go on and on.

Thnx!! I think it is important to remind them that since these are the most expensive items in the game they deserve some VIP attention.

I know the storage space is a very big deal but I just felt they gave their answer on that a long time ago. So poseable mannequins with lavish bases seemed a decent option for a little room with a purpose. I wanted to add weapon displays but Zos is picky with anything regarding space.

I really love the night and day toggle and your other suggestions

A log book so you can see who has visited when - perhaps even let them leave you a note

A home trader selling either just your own things or all things listed in your guilds - gives a small outlet for those not in trading guilds and gives a reason to visit lots of homes. What homes lack presently is a reason to go there rather than to look around and chat. Perhaps they need this sort of purpose to connect them with the wider world?

More 'blank slate' properties, like Coldharbour but less blue

Perhaps lighting options that allow for lighting areas without having to use half of the furnishing limits on candles and lanterns yes - like the ability to raise or lower the overall interior light levels perhaps? Or infinite placeable invisible light sources that do not count towards the limit?

More things that are the shape and size of rough planks but are less rough and less like planks

Home fishy puddles

Placeable water shapes and mud allotments - for ponds and vegetable patches

Fences, walls, floors etc - most certainly some kind of wooden picket fence

Greater visitor limits if ever possible

More stairs

Dyeable furnishings - yes this one is a long shot Khajiit knows

These are great ideas Santie Claws. I really like the ability to add water, having sanded planks, that special touch of a guest book with personal notes to cherish. And yussss, they need to let us have lots of Tamriel's travelers to be in our homes for bigger parties and catnip teatime.

I would like the ability to connect a house with a guild. Instead of scrolling through member names to find the kind samaritan that volunteered their domicile for guild activities, give us a button that's linked to that house. Hell, make that house permanent property of the guild.

They need to fix up the base game houses there was a thread that showcased all the inconsistencies and graphic problems with the houses like Daggerfall Outlook for example the house is messed up

• Weapon racks
• Armour mannequins with the ability to quickly switch into that gear. Maybe even attach a CP and skill set up to the mannequin for quick switching between builds.
• The ability to place your alt characters around your house with the added ability to trade gear directly with them. I’d like them to be able to move around and interact with things in the house, but that might be too ambitious.
• More furniture space (obviously)
• More combined furnishings to save space (for example, instead of an empty table furnishing, a table furnishing with things already attached to it).

Make furnishing items out of all the collectibles.

Put that whirring dynamo on display. Have that shark in the water, if your home has such. Place the chattering skull on a table. Put the perfect harpy wing on the wall. Use that luminous sack as a light source. And so on.

I would really like a search function added to the diagram section of each working station. I have so many recipes now, that it is really hard to find furnishings I want to craft.

Also, maybe, furnishing deconstruction

A day\night toggle is a very needed function. My home looks completely different during day and night, so when I make changes, I want to ensure that neither of the looks has suffered any damage, so I always have to wait a full day cycle for this.

Also, it's a bit hard to place things at night (escpecially, aligning borders and edges), so almost always I have to wait for the morning. And if I use strong source of light to be able to see, then my color aesthetics might be skewed.

+1. The only time we ever see housing devs is when they're pimping the latest crown palace on ESO Live.

More pre-filled furnishings; bookcases, tables with stuff on them, etc. If the cap can't go up at least we can get more bang for a single slot.

More variety in the luxury vendor. Waiting a week for the same old plus one low effort new item is tedious.

1. Wayshrines to exit for free.
2. The ability for guildmasters to set a guild house with a quick link in the guild menu instead of making people search the roster.
3. Full functionality (repairs, guild access, no fencing fee, etc) for assistants inside the house.

The ability to sacrifice furnishing slots in one home to allow them to be used in another. Even at a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 ratio. Keep a few mansions empty so that you can add more space to your primary house.

Additionally, practical items such as a wayshrine, more service characters, writ boards/turn ins. I love trying to incorporate functionality into aesthetics.

These should be people you meet out in the world, random like M'aiq ore the crime pays / light the world etc people
You could offer them gold to "look after" the place, and send them to a home. Have to come up with 100 gold a week or something similar. You can move them around the house, and they could have simple conversations, etc.

Since the beginning of housing I have repeated these requests:

- In home guild banking and selling
- In home wayshrine - we can port in, why can't we port out?
- In home equipment repairs

Not on my original beginning of all time list, but also needing attention:

- there should be a starter home on every map including DLC zones.
- allow us to have a "favorites" list of homes
- Favorites list of homes mentioned above could also have other player names listed and if you picked the player from the list then you would go to their primary residence.
- fishing nodes should be retro added to all homes that have enough water as part of the property. They should only produce the fish that are native to the home's location.
- nodes (preferably farmable) should be available for placement in homes.
- 3x more slots in every home

My number one is a global on/off for Grass. What looks like natural ground cover in the game world looks more like unruly weeds when you're trying to create a garden or place a tent. I don't want weeds, I don't want anyone else seeing weeds.

Number two is probably for things like paintings and banners to use the back brackets as the placement axis so the entire thing remains vertical to the surface when using the default placement tools.

Earthtear Cavern has had a great deal of problems and others too. Thnx for bringing this up again. The cost of these homes really earn them much needed attention.

I’d vote for semi-cheaper houses, cause 15,000 crowns for an empty house is a bit much for me.
