Good healing spells for groups/dungeons?

After years of solo and duo questing and delves and such, I want to try more large group activities like dungeons with my templar. What are good healing spells for groups?
Sweetie, can you show us on the doll where the bad man from Blizzard touched you?

    Grand Healing is the staple starter skill for group healing, you get it as soon as you unlock the resto line.

    Healing Ritual is a Templar specific group heal. Used to have a channel time which made it a bit eh, and it costs a LOT of Magicka, but it heals for a pretty hard amount instant for nearby allies and can be useful. Don't really use it myself though as there are better alternatives.

    Templar also has access to Cleansing Ritual, which provides a purge that removes negative effects like damage over time effects (though sometimes these effects are not purge-able).

    Necrotic Orb morphed to Energy Orb by far is the most practical, its like a corridor aoe machine gun heal with a resource restore synergy, throw out a heap of these towards where the action is and they heal everyone gradually as they travel. Takes a bit to unlock this skill though and the morph is lengthy to reach.

    Combat Prayer for a front area corridor aoe Minor Berserk, increases damage done for your team. An end game must have for groups that don't primarily run all Nightblades, but regardless its good to give everyone as much damage as possible.
    Altaïr: You of all people should know the answer; educate them. Teach them right from wrong. It must be knowledge that frees them. Not force.
    Jubair: They do not learn, fixed in their ways as they are. You are naive to think otherwise. It is an illness, for which there is only one 'cure'."

    For 4 man a small selection of the heals listed by Beard in the post above are good.

    It really depends on how much damage the group bathes in as many vet dungeons I have healed pretty much with regen and some healing orbs from the rStaff line filled in with Breath of Life, matriarch or Combat Prayer depending on what class I am on.

    For larger groups like trials more of that list is used (negate situational)

    Springs is total BS skill for PUG vet DLC. Usualy one dd is here, second dd is there, tank in the middle and how the hell you can cast Springs to all of them? Springs is mostly for trials, where players packed or for strong premades, where players also packed around tank. Still some bosses allows Springs like Falkreath Hold last boss (which was nerfed to the ground), but only cuz of super small fighting arena.

    For me, top skills for healing are:
    - Healing Orb;
    - Rapid Regen;
    - Vigor :trollface:
    - Breath of Life (Templar);
    - Purifying Light (Templar);

    Also, it seems they buffed Rapid to the skies. My Rapid Regen do 34k regen now and was never higher than 22k:

    For a templar, the following are amazing:
    Breath of Life
    Ritual of Retribution
    Channeled Focus (this doesn’t heal but rather buffs your spell+physical resistances and restores magicka)
    Luminous Shards (for resource return for your group members)
    Any morph of Grand Healing
    Combat Prayer
    Mutagen or Rapid Regen
    Panacea (Resto staff ultimate)
    Energy orbs (healing morph of last active skill in Undaunted line)
    Barrier (Support line ultimate)
    Inner Light (for max magicka and more crit heals)

    Good starter sets are:
    Eyes of Mara
    Seducer
    Kagrenac’s
    Vanus’s
    Worm’s Rament
    Julianos
    Sanctuary
    Bogdan
    Chokethorn
    Rkugamz

    What gear pros wear:
    Olorime’s
    Jorvuld’s
    Spell Power Cure
    Worm’s (yes indeedery)
    Mending
    Earthgore
    Bogdan’s
    Some people have even used Rkugamz
    Sorcerer's pretty much been the same for years. Nerf Rush of Agony and Saints&Seducer's

    @mocap when was rapid regeneration changed? That tooltip looks high to me too.

    Make sure you use shards and ritual. They’re the two skills that separate Templar from the other kinds of healers in game. Good tanks pretty much take care of themselves, your job is more so to feed them resources than heal them.

    Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
    LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
    PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
    Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

    @Iskiab
    Tooltip was made from fully buffed heavy healer.
    45k magicka, 4100 spell damage (Major/Minor Sorcery is up), Powered stave (Infused + Berserk is up), Ritual mundus, 14% Blessed, Minor Mending. I can do 27K HPS (4man group) without Springs.

    Don't know when it was changed.

    The best thing about templar healing isn't the healing bar; rather, it's the destro bar, on which I usually put:
    • Elemental Drain (required)
    • Blazing Spear/Luminous Shards (orbs/shards are required, but the templar version also does great damage)
    • Elemental Blockade (why not?)
    • Purifying Light (used in boss fights only, but great in those)
    • Reflective Light (very underrated skill)

    On the healing bar I usually put:
    • Channeled Focus (always take this)
    • One or both of Ward Ally and Honor the Dead (those are my preferred morphs after recent patches)
    • Mutagen/Rapid Regeneration, usually Mutagen (always, since my Major Courage set is Spell Power Cure)
    • Combat Prayer (unless the group has weak DPS)

    That's for dungeons. I haven't done trials, where Healing Springs might make more sense than Mutagen, and a healer might not have time to do a lot of DPSing anyway.

    Purge skills are less used than one might think, because most of the most damaging conditions aren't purgeable.
