(Note: NOT for PvP or PvE raids or dungeons BUT A FUN BUILD for the 2 DLC quest lines, keep the panties on Snaaaake! It's a damn sneaking mission!)

Khajit
-3m detection area
Medium Armor Skill Line XP by 15%
+5% pickpocket

Stamina Nightblade
Dark cloak ability: Instantly invisible

All attributes into stamina

Buff: Dubious Camorean Throne

Werewolf ulti slotted:
+15% stamina recovery
OR
Vampire:
+10% Magicka and Stamina recovery by 10%. (stage 2-4)
Ignore the Movement Speed penalty while in Crouch.

3pc jewelry transmuted with swift trait and magica regen glyphs.

Not 100% optimal. It's better to use just 3pc Night Terror and a monster set with arena weapons or another 4 piece set (2 body / 2 weapons).

5pc Night Mother's Embrace (body)
3pc Night Terror (jewels)
2pc Medium (monster or head+shoulder 2pc)

With weapons to match accordingly.

You know how you can tell when a crutch is a crutch? When it gets taken you fall flat on your face.

Some of the complaints lately have been making me feel like I've been cheating somehow this whole time by completing missions for TG/DB on my Templars, Sorcs, DKs, and NBs who are Breton, Altmer, Dunmer, Bosmer, Khajiit, Nord, Iquana, Orc, Imperial, and Redguard.

Anyways, good builds, I've used the second one a lot, even on non-NB mag characters and done alright. My favorite for these missions are my mag NB's though. Cloak through anything sketchy and sneak when its needed.

You should either grind mats/AP or parse to improve your rotation or do vet HMs, all other activities are waste of time

Standard stuff, much of which I've been doing for years on my Bosmer. ::sigh::

Occasionally, however, among mobs who are particularly good at detection, I felt the need to spam Cloak long enough to have a bit of a magicka issue. It's possible that a bit of magicka regen or max magicka would be an improvement.

Also, an obvious part of the build was Rapid Maneuvers. Now that Rapid has lost its anti-snare properties, however, I suspect Charging is a little better. And anti-snare is still a good piece to have, especially in town areas with guards.

That's the problem.

But our problem is not with our Khajiiti allies, but with devs who obviously skimmed the cliff-notes lore summary and still managed to get even that wrong.

I'll also add an altenative build for the event. Whatever you currently have, 3 piece night silence jewlery in white, 1 white bow or staff with no trait or enchantment for your backbar. Op offered a fun build if you are into it, but if you are just after tickets, the sneak speed is plenty for these missions and your front bar is enough to fight if you get in trouble in these areas.

You can also go to your back bar with the white bow/staff, crouch to sneak, switch your front bar and you'll keep the sneak speed even though you are back on your front bar. If you are on pc and have dressing room AND you have no sense of pride, but you do want tickets. Use my build, crouch, change your gear and your rock on.

I would just like to post my continued campaign to see imperial diplomat coin bonus affect merchants/fences.

Currently I have tested it and this does not affect it. Allowing that would provide more options for theif classes. With the coming thieves guild event, this would be an opportune time bring more diversity to thief build options.

I use 2pc monster with magicka regen so I can spam cloak, and I do.

I am a magblade and have slotted my shadow skills for this event. But it seems like they really don't work. I cloak and am supposed to be invisible for something like 2.5 seconds, yet the NPCs start yelling at me and I get a bounty. Even when I use invisibility potions they seem to see me. I have better luck sneaking and trying to stay out of sight without these so-called "helpers."

That's you, me, I need all the help I can get.

I don't mean anything bad and actually gave your post insightful, it's very useful and informative. I just mentioned another way, with magblade and concealed weapon you move quite fast and can ignore almost all stealth limitations for this particular tasks, i.e. heists and sacraments. Still magblade can't pickpocket effectively, so for pure thief build your variant is crazy good.

You probably run into "lanterns" which break both invisibility and stealth and prevent moving into invisibility for several seconds. I completed ton of TG quests on NB in siroria/mothersorrow in last 24 hours just fine, including moving around Hew's Bane in permacloak with big bounty on my head (bounty was from that quest with pickpocketing 10 people)

Why to complicate things? Just get a Magblade with a ton of magicka and magicka regen and walk though those daily quests permacloacked.
