Version 3.0 of my Hybrid Dk build progression. There are 2 clips. A 3v9+ and a 1vX. I try to bring solid fights, legitimate constant fighting in my videos. Hope you all enjoy.

@Warpig6Delta and what is pleasantly surprising, but retrospectively disappointing is that they are stronger than my mag dk's of old, minus the ele drain. This build could have been ran a year ago...2 -

Would it work for pve too for example vet CoS? I like playing build in pvp and pve because of muscle memory. Therefor i dont do harder content as CoS0 -
SkysOutThizeOut✭✭✭✭@HansProlo sure it would work. Not ideal. You need someone to provide major breach unless you just want to run a destro staff and drop dw which would be really good. Also need to find a different set or way of getting WD and sustain besides seventh. 😉 in this newest vid I’ve dropped seventh legion. A post about my version 1 explains the concept. Which is transferable to light. I use hybrid to make up for deficiencies in healing on dk and to give myself an extra bar space. Rally is an insane HoT and gives me major sorc with pelinial. And we get Minor as well cus of or passive. With hardly any effort we achieve higher spell damage than any viable open world dk could hope to, with better recovery/sustain. But whatever we invest cp wise is invested fully in line with mag damage here. Don’t try hybrid damage, it’s hybrid healing we are really after (unless bleeds).
Understanding the above will help you to theory craft your own.0 -

Also, have you had any success with hybrids on other classes? Was thinking that one of the biggest weaknesses atm of magblade is the lack of a decent burst heal... Rally makes up for that... Of course, unlike DK, there's no snare removal on the class baseline, which is not so great heh.0 -

This build is totally different to your first version. You have no stam damage skills. Are you wearing light armor now and full magicka?
Pelinals for just rally?
Which set are you testing now next to pelinals? Spell strategist?

SkysOutThizeOut✭✭✭✭@HansProlo I’m stacking weapon damage still. In duels I’ll do master dw too and blood craze. I use quick cloak. Sometimes I’ll do vigor instead of draw essence. It depends. I don’t show duels because I think they’re boring. I could do rev slice instead of embers or engulfing, but I did that I’d go medium to have more overall wd and sd. That would have more success in non cp. require different distribution in mag/stam.
But people need to stop thinking hybrid in terms of damage. They need to think of it in terms of healing and utility. The former is what has prevented successful hybrid builds.
I show these and provide the reasoning and concept so people who know their class can develop something that works and is unique for them.0 -

Unfortunately that group has wised up and is more cautious to engage and also has slotted timestop lol.... 😒1 -

Which one is your new favoured 2nd set?
What would you recommend for stats? 80% magicka 20% stamina?
