In a sea of differently-styled mansions and vistas, houses big and small as far as the eye can see, I feel that one of ZOS' problems with the houses they've released is that most of them are very much the same, in the sense of "this is a house and it is in X locations". It's predictable and it works, but they have yet to introduce a house that I love enough to actually want to buy for my thief. I'd love my own underground thieves den where I can hoard my stash of goods.
It could be big, it could be small. It could be in the basement of another smaller house, it could be its own cove overlooking the sea. It could be anything, as long as it's not gigantic and 120 dollars. I think making nothing but those kinds of huge houses these days is a mistake, and with Elswyr coming soon, maybe they could tap into the thieving nature of the khajit and include something different to please those of us who want something other than another simple home.

✭A small or medium sized thieve's den would be awesome. Only thing they've released so far remotely like this is Erstwhile Sanctuary, and it's very large, expensive as hell, and rather buggy. Shame they don't seem interested in making many smaller homes now. Any time they add a new one it's huge and ungodly expensive.1 -

✭✭The Thieve's Den in Hew's Bane and a lot of the Outlaw Refuges have either blocked doors or dead end hallways that could totally be used to hide a "secret" entrance for a player home.2 -

Those locked doors and dead ends are because the original dens had 5 or 6 exits to the city. In the beta people thought it was too easy to get away from guards or something.
So, yes it would good to put those doors or hallways to use.

Krainor1974✭✭✭✭✭I just updated my TG house so the wells of my other homes port you to my TG home which is hidden down a well, I’m using eht’s New portals. My bottom of well home is actually mournmoth keep I made underground with the huge lava plug rocks here’s the entrance.
