According to the Patch Notes the Wrathstone update fixed this issue, but even after today's patch it's still happening.

Here's a screenshot I took of the indrik on a sloping surface just now, you can clearly see the front feet are not touching the ground:

And for comparison here's a horse in exactly the same spot:

It's better than it was before, but I agree that it's not completely fixed. Whatever they did in the last patch, they need to do it a little more. It's very easy to ride around on a horse or senche where they always have their feet aligned with the ground no matter the angle of the slope, then switch to an indrik and see the difference.

Not sure if their engine has any similarities to the UE4 engine but if it does, my guess would be they have a spherical collision component for the indrik which is aligned with its edge a little lower than the legs, which is what's causing it to always shift too far forwards or backwards rather than aligning properly to the ground. It needs to be raised slightly so all four of the legs can more easily align with the ground at any angle.

I really hope this gets a proper fix soon. Not only does it have the odd forward-backward alignment issue, but it has a possibly even more annoying left-right tilt that hurts my head to look at :D Not sure why the indrik specifically seems to have this issue when the horse and elk rigs (which I think indriks are a just a modified version of) do not do this.

You are the only person i've encountered who has also noticed this! I thought i was going nuts.

The left-right tilt drives me nuts. In another game I used to play all of their new horse mounts do this, some lean so far on uneven ground that they should fall over, and when running on uneven ground they wobble horribly side to side. I couldn't bring myself to use those mounts because of it. To see this issue on a mount in this game is very disappointing.
