So hey ZOS... let me know when you DOUBLE the item slots for notable homes to 1400. Or at least take the advice you've been given to make them 700 items INSIDE and 700 items OUTSIDE. Otherwise, I'll have to pass on it AGAIN.

You can do a lot with 700 items.

Could it use a few more slots, certainly. But 700 is pretty good for the house.

Y'know, while I'd KILL for another 3k square feet IRL... I really like the smaller houses in game better. All those big places just feel.... cold and sterile....

I soooo wish we could buy this house for ingame gold. I saved for months to get enough gold to afford a 15000 crown purchase only to find out houses can't be gifted :'( I could weep.

Same. I still have a good number of crowns left and could buy it, though the number of slots for such gigantic place is an absolut deal-breaker. As you, I'm going to pass on it AGAIN.

And it's a bloody shame too because I LOVE this house. But since ZOS says absolutely nothing about the item slot problem I'm not going to keep living on the HOPE that one day they'll increase it and I'll finally be able to do what I want with this place. 700 may be "enough" for some people but it's absolutely NOT enough if you want a place to look like it's actually lived in. At 600 items I've had to skimp on the gardens and kitchen in Hundings Palatial Hall, had to forgo doing ANYTHING with the tower or ocean in Daggerfall Overlook, as well as skimping on the kitchen and a bedroom and bath there, even with 700 slots, had to forgo a kitchen in Strident Springs, had to cut back on the forest in Forsaken Stronghold, which is 600 slots.

Two years of silence from ZOS after their initial "we'll look into it" and frankly I just get a little angry every time I see them trot out yet another HUGE place.

That's lovely and good job! However, I'd like to know if you were able to fill every single room of the interior so that they look like rooms that are actually used and lived in. Also, I'd want ot do extensive gardens outside...and I know I can't because by the time I was done I'd have no item slots left over for the interior.

At this point I'm left waiting to see if they come up with more intelligent options given the limits they've imposed when Elswyr comes out. I'm not holding my breath though.

It is a very fine property for sure but yes also the limits are very frustrating when you have good ideas but are unable to complete them.

But still Claws Temple Spa Resort is a very fine place.

This one thinks though for this place you need a quite definite idea of how you will use it. A direction if you will yes. The large and dark interior can be a problem if you don't know what to do with it.

First let me state that in my post I did say it could use a few more slots. In my opinion 800 or even 750 would have been fine.

However, "lived in" is a bit subjective, enough detail for one person is not enough for another.

That being said I made the house based on my travels in Istanbul, I made a bazaar, an outdoor lounge, and made the interior a temple to the eight divines based on the Hagia Sofia. The house also features all of the crafting stations.

Entrance and woodworking area.

Entrance and faux way shrine.

Shops in the bizarre showing the clothing/dye station and enchanting station (presented as a fortune tellers booth in the back).

Apothocary (potions) and the fortune tellers booth.

Shops, in the tent is the jewel crafter.

Lounge - Tea area

Dock with mud crabs fighting over dead fish. (Blacksmith area is here not shown).

Could I use another 50 items for a more complete detail pass, yes. But I think asking for 1400 is just too much, and I like the fact that the transition to exterior to interior is pretty smooth. If it was a 700/700 split for interior and exterior we would have to go through another load screen each time.

I'd love to buy it but it's just too expensive, espacially in my country's weak currency. it's around 400 zl in here when brand new games are around 150-230 zl and with minimal pay here being around 1600 zl. Just too much for a virtual house in a game that I already put a lot of money into. I wish the prices would get more reasonable, I bet ZOS would make much more if the "microtransactions" were really more "micro", especially since selling virtual stuff doesn't cost them anything. But hey, what can you do?

I completely agree with you there. The prices, especially considering the limitations imposed on items slots, player capacity, and functionality has always meant these pixels houses are way overpriced. Regardless of whether or not you have the money to burn on them.

@SantieClaws and @BlueRaven you've both done really cool and beautiful things. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this property. Which is why it breaks my heart, knowing I can't do what I want to with it. I'd want it to be not a spa, not a temple, both of which easily accommodate a lot of big open spaces, but an actual palace, as it seems intended to be. Throne room, a detailed kitchen, audience chambers, bedrooms, a library....and extensive gardens. It has the SPACE for all of these things...but nowhere near the item slots for it. Is it available on PTS still? If so I could go in and really show you. I KNOW, once I got done with the gardens alone, I would barely be able to touch the interior. I know because I've struggled with this on my Hunding's already, a MUCH smaller place and with only 100 less spaces.

Indeed. This one has left the upstairs mostly empty and would very much like to develop the dock area further. This one bears this in mind and hopes for the future while accepting that, for now, this isn't possible.

There are other plans this one has in mind for other places we do not have and may never have.

For now this one will work with what we have and enjoy it while still always, always planning for what might be one day.

Gotta say - I bought it with great pleasure when it was originally released...

A year later and I still haven't done anything with it. Each time I try, it becomes dauntingly large and 700 items just feels stretched. I'll eventually close off the house and decorate the courtyard. One day.

The swimmable pool is the one real reason I have no regrets about buying it.

More medium sized properties would be very welcome. Also more blank spaces like the Coldharbour property. A walled desert enclosure, a patch of farmland surrounded by high hedges or … something like that.

This one thinks it is really a place where you can make the most of the outside. The inside, If this one did not have the temple, then she would probably use put a few giant cherry trees in there for some sort of indoor garden perhaps? Big trees take up much space but few slots yes …

Maybe that can be the way for them to get people to play Bosmers again. Change the racial passive to +10% housing slots!
