Is it likely that the Elsweyr tutorial may introduce new players to weaving?

I recently asked myself this question, as some people pointed out on an other thread that bashing was now in the tutorial.

So, as we now have some in-game tips (loading screen and in leveling rewards), would it be likely that they introduce the new players to weaving in the next tutorial?

I personally would not be surprised if during the tutorial they mention the fact that it is possible, without actually requiring you to do it in order to proceed.

It was a genuine question and I think anyone can answer that regardless of their opinion on the matter, it's about the likelihood of it being in the tutorial.

I think that it would not be surprising, considering the few steps they already have taken in this direction.

I really hope they will do this, and want to express it. The sooner new players learn about it, the better.

I doubt that it would be included in the tutorial since that would be a little too advanced/complicated for new players to understand. Most new players barely get by with either 1) Spamming light attacks only or 2) Spamming a single skill. Most new players don't understand rotations revolving around DOT management, so throwing light attack weaving into the mix would probably be a little too much.

Weaving requires at least one skill so the game would need to force you to buy one specific skill to be able to teach it to you. Because otherwise what if the first skill you buy is the daedric minion as sorcerer or some other non-weavable stuff?

I think that this will not happen.
There's also little tidbits where it tells the player during leveling up to try to incorporate light attacks in between abilities so based on that, it should be enough. If they don't read it, then they're missing out.

Then with the other things that's been said so far, it's pretty true. Especially after how they've reorganized various skill lines and abilities, not every class has access to a spammable to learn animation canceling with, nor are you really put in the position to have the best optimal weapon for your resource choice of flavor.

Now could they add some abilities and take them away like what the vampire questline does? Yeah, but I think that would also add more confusion to a newer player as well.

The best thing we can possibly ask for are clearer tooltips and additional information in the in-game help menu. For instance using Force Shock/Crushing Shock/Force Pulse as an example, they could state that this is a spammable in the tooltip and have another tip below to incorporate light attacks there. Or even in Death Recap screens, though that might cause people to go "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ANIMASHUN KANSULING REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!". But even those things I really don't see happening.
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies!

xD When I discovered that even after 10 I could still add options, I thought it was time to stop.

Wait, didn't ZOS already suggest weaving in the tutorial?

    Edit: Ah yes.

Does ZOS give you a tutorial on how to slot potions?

      No.

There are way more important things a tutorial needs than weaving.

My 11 year old step son just started playing ESO this weekend and let me tell you know much there is that is not in a tutorial because it overwhelms new players. Slow and steady. We think he enjoys Fallout 76 more because it's less complicating than ESO.

I think I was level 20 before I saw someone's advice in chat on how to do it. Until then, I'd been dying a lot and using them after combat from my inventory if I was too hurt :D

I think they will likely do this, but it does not mean that everyone will be able to do it. I will acknowledge that for the most part, this is a good skill to learn, however people such as myself who deal with high ping (Oceanic) makes LA weaving annoying. Sometimes it goes off, most times it doesn't. It ends up making me frustrated more than anything.

I mean, the idea behind it sounds rather solid, a multiplayer Fallout game. Just... As it stands, the game sounds like a buggy mess that bans players for reasons that may or may not be just. That and in my area the game is still being sold for 50-60 Euros, while in other countries the game is being given away.

I want a free Fallout 76 too! Just for PC please.
