"Elder Scrolls Artifact: Chrysamere
This includes a two-handed Outfit style replicating the Chrysamere Elder Scrolls Artifact, a sword also known as the Paladin’s Blade.
This is the first in a series of weapon Outfit styles inspired by legendary Elder Scrolls Artifact weapons. The Elder Scrolls Artifact: Chrysamere Outfit style will be available in the Crown Store on all platforms starting on March 21."

With this news, is there an artifact style that you're hoping to see from previous Elder Scrolls games?

Personally, I'm looking forward to an Umbra artifact :)

Looks nice, but will depend on the price.

I'd like to see one based on Malacath's hammer from Skyrim. I always liked that pulsing red light.

I was hoping it’d be a furnishing piece not a style but of course I should have known ZoS flat-out refuse to give housing community any form of weapon for furnishings :disappointed:

Also we know from the data-mine thread that there’s currently 5 of these planned so far I think:
    Chrysamere
    Firstblade (Miraak’s Sword)
    Sinweaver (an Elven sword)
Spellbreaker (Peryite’s Shield which appears in Fang Lair?)
    Spear of Bitter Mercy

why not...the more styles the merrier.....altough none of these "special" styles have impressed me over other stuff - but there are quite a few interesting things in the 4.3 datamines

In the datamined i also saw as daedric artefact, the spear of bitter mercy.

Does this mean we get spears, or will it just act as a current 2-handed or staff.. I wonder

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Whelp, I’m going two-handed on my main and never looking back. That sword is the sword I used for most of Morrowind. I absolutely adore it.

I actually don't mind things being listed in the Crown Store. Crown Crates on the other hand...

That being said, it would be nice if they began offering some of these cosmetic items in-game via achievements since everyone can't afford to buy these items with real money. They were willing to sell Event Tickets for real money, so it would be nice if they did the reverse and offered the ability to unlock Crown Store items in-game.

Any ideas on how many Crowns it will cost? I'll definitely get it if it isn't obscenely expensive.

Of course it's in the crown store.

Because "Ancient and powerful Elder Scrolls Artifact" screams "Pay $20 for this" and not "Do long and hard quest in order to obtain this as a reward"

I was hoping it’d be a furnishing piece not a style but of course I should have known ZoS flat-out refuse to give housing community any form of weapon for furnishings :disappointed:

There's at least 1 sword available as a furnishing, the Replica of Shattered Ansei Sword (from the Alik'r desert achievement furnisher), which can be set to appear as an intact sword instead of a shattered one. There's also the Blade of Woe, which is a dagger, and possibly others that I've forgotten.

It would be nice to be able to have more weapons as furnishings (it would be great to be able to use any of them), but it's inaccurate to say ZOS refuse to let us have any when some already exist.

It’s actually quite accurate to say ZOS refuse to let us have any. Ansei is a 35k gold ceremonial weapon, blade of woe is also expensive and only a murderers dagger not a soldiers weapon.

Just as an FYI you don't show the Daedric Longsword in that graphic. You have, from top to bottom, the Daedric Spear, Shortsword, an edited version of the Tanto, Claymore, Dagger, and an edited version of the Wakizashi.

    All original models found here.

They should call them Artifact Styles, and because they are special styles unlike ordinary cosmetic styles they should be excluded from Crown Store purchases and require real money in order to obtain them, ...because they are special and possibly bigger. (For at least one year) And they should cost as much as a DLC. :D

Between the Undaunted styles and sets like Dwarven Remnant which should be in the Dragonscale crates, I'm finding myself with almost too many weapon options.
I'm sure some people will love these but inanimate objects with proper names tend to have a lot of baggage, and not the type that conveniently holds all my fish roe and grease.

I personally do not agree with artefact styles being available. They should be unique and not found everywhere. I can accept artefacts showing up in Cyrodiil for a brief time but not as outfit styles for widespread use. It's not very artefact-like

    It's prime dragon break material:

*And the times they were crazy for many wonders and paradoxes manifested upon the land. It seemed as though the god-given artefacts were thrown upon Nirn in multitude and even lowly brigands would wield them and walk upon the bloodied soil*

*and it would seem the Lord of Madness increased and was made great for the many artefacts of Daedric blood were painted red and orange and green and all the colours of Merid-Nunda's rainbow, such that it was hard to look upon their faces lest their garish visage would pluck your very own eyes from their sockets*
