Oh i thought it was mostly PvErs complaining.
Blue siege is a one shot the way it is now, two ticks from oils will kill you if you don't have a dedicated healer as well.
That's NOT how it's supposed to be. This is not a pvp'ers vs. pve'rs discussion.

It doesn't make sense that a metal stick deals more damage then a giants ice rock.

Now you are just blatantly trolling.

Actually it's PvErs that are in Cyrodiil just to get Caltroops/Vigor are crying the most. PvPers after few hours already figured out how to deal with current sieges.
1. Don't stand in stupid.
2. You can roll dodge both the initial hit and the following ticks.
3. Use purge or cloak.
4. Again don't stand in stupid. When you play long in enough you don't even think about it, you see red circle and your subconsciousness does the rest on it's own.

@Mayrael What you say is true for normal sieges, but not when talking about coldfire ballistas. First, there is a bug or exploit that can increase their damage to 44k PER TICK, second, once you are in a fight and rooted or CC'd you cannot always get out of a carpet of siege impact circles. I've wiped whole groups with a friend just using two coldfire ballistas synchronized on the same spot, and no healer and purger in the world had any chance to survive this. This is true for organized groups as much as for randoms.
Also, there is a lovely gamebug which is occasionally suppressing the visuals for the siege impact, so there is nothing 'to move out of' in 20% of all cases.

You made a false statement, I pointed out it was false. It's simply NOT just pve'rs complaining and being hurt by this glitch, and it IS a glitch that needs fixing. That's the only argument to be made.
It's much more realistic the way it is now and actually makes sense using defensive equipment not just waiting until someone breaks to gate on the defenders.
One ballista made insane damage on people back in the day, not to mention trebuchets and those who had oil in their neck (very rarely so it was rather hot water) during sieges were completely out of the battle without the chance to be resurrected.
I'm happy to get some extra realism in sieges and secretly hope they'll not patch it back to the ridiculously theatrical but pretty ineffective defensive equipment. Having more epic than "farmable" sieges would be welcome.

Found the person who sets up and fires siege at one player versus 10
