Need help for a good dps build

I am a level 33 nord dragonknight looking for a good build for a dps. I was using staffs but that didn’t seem to be a good build for dps. Now I only have one handed weapon I’m going for dual. I know I get slaughtered on pve with this build but this is just to level up to get to cp160. I’m going to try to keep away from staffs and bows now.

Well if you want melee then your probably going to want to foucs on posion, Physical and maybe fire damage. This would probably be the simplest thing for you to do. Don't forget that DK is one of the Tankiest classes in the game, and too use that to your advantage when building your toon. With that said as far as sets go, a descent craftable set if you focus on dots is going to be Torgus Pack with Infused weapons.

For the second set I would find something that compliments the focus on the DKs base Damage types. Because posions are typically dots I would use Valkyn Scora as the monster set just simply because as a DK fire is also a great strength of yours over all.

If your useing duel swords or weapons you could run a fire and posion enchanments. The only problem with this is one is based off magic damage and I'm pretty sure posion is based off stamina so you may want to take that into account.

I would also go Bow as a secondary Weapon simply because in some content range is required.

Range is definitely required in pve because all the cp810s are on the front lines I’m waiting to jump in when I hit cp160 but very helpful

I run 2 heavy 5 light with inferno destro staff, I focus on melting everything.

I run 2 magus gift and 5 julianos with willpower jewelry of spellpower.

Skills I use are unstable wall of elements, burning talons, Lava whip, impulse and green dragon blood for heals.

All points in magicka with all magicka glyths on armor and weapon damage glyth on the staff.

I do not do trials or pvp though.

Try argonian sorc bow first bar and resto staff back bar. Your rotation is :
Endless Hail>Arrow Spray>Heavy Attack>Bar Swap>Rearming Trap>Inner Light x4
You should wear ashen grip and ice furnace with vykosa monster set.
Free easy 60k+ DPS.

I did a dummy test on my 34 level nord dragonknight got 1842 dps in my guild house is that good for my level I was using dual.

Look MagDk, level up using Destro Resto run something like Seducer, Desert Rose. 5 light 1 heavy 1 med (yeah and get Undaunted).

Run that until you hit 50. Then Sword and Board Sword and Board. This is all to learn the class. Don’t worry about sets until you are cp 160. Heck don’t worry about super dps until around cp 300.

Run Embers Whip, Talons Fossilize Leap. Coagulating Blood, Cauterize. Plus some resto skills while you running resto. Ultimately you want mages guild’s structured Entropy. So yeah lore books.

You might want to race change that Nord too. Dunmer still hits hard on a MagDk.

Me personally for PvP I run 1 Kena 1 Balorgh Julianos Sun all magicka all spell damage glyphs DW Destro, off hand sharp, main hand nirn with escapist poisons, beserker on the flame stick nirn. With like 13, 14k penetration. With Ele Drain and Structured Entropy up, this hits like a TRUCK. Mind you this is PVP. I don’t run trials or take PvE seriously. This slices through NPcs even in impen. So oh well.

It's got well laid out sections, doesn't droan on with needless details, it has a pleasing blue background (Compared to Xynode, this is a masterpiece). The font could be a bit bigger though.

My guild mates are also helping me build a good character to but when I hit cp I need to find out which points to use for dps. I do no magic it’s a stamina all green on Abilities. I am cp418 on my Xbox account but I just did that random I want to make it right on this character so I can do more dps in dungeons
