How to counter stamsorc as stampler

Having a lot of issues against stamsorc. I'm running spriggan brass blood spawn medium Snb/2her. Using reverb, breach, vigor, Potl, templar purge, templar ultimate heal on SNB and executioner, jabs, shuffle, vigor, rune and dbos. Also note I am imperial and the duels are pre wrath stone as I'm on xbox. The Sorcerer was running 2h duel wield. In my death recaps, most of the damage was hurricane, dw bleeds, and one whirlwind. Sometimes a dbos and sometimes two whirlwinds. What I don't understand is that I'm running at the resistance cap with blood spawn and rune up, attempting to block dbos and whirlwind. I dueled him about 8 times and became increasingly frustrated because he would land a stun on me at 80 to 90% hp and would drop to execute range in one global and being finished off by a whirlwind or implosion before vigor could recover me. I could hardly survive the first burst because rally was ready, but by the second burst came threw there was absolutely nothing I could do. To make matters worse, I couldn't even move his hp to 80% unless he sat in two rotations of jabs (which is where he would get me to 80% in the first place through passive damage hurricane/bleeds.) I would open on him with LA weave/breach, LA weave POTL, LA weave/reverb/bash weave, swap, jabs once or twice and add in a dbos then swap back over to reverb again to attempt to slow his auto healing threw a high defile uptime. I tried blanketing vigors ahead of time before attempting to damage to help me stay topped off long enough to make an impact. To make matters worse, he wasn't even good, I landed every single reverb, and jabs, and he didn't even try to kite or roll dodge at the end of my potl like most decent players would. He then sent a message in white chat "lol your not gonna beat me why are you even trying". I run shuffle and even tried dispelling the bleeds asap yet his hurricane and bleeds still pressured me harder than my jabs. I am not the best of best players but this was baffling. Advice needed.

You cannot. Especially when stamsorc targets your back with exploiting movement speed, buggy targeting system and running around objects . He knows what he does.

On the bright side, Implosion deaths are a thing of the past.

I might suggest you try a different 5piece set that gives +weapon damage. In spriggans/Brass/BS, presumably medium, your heals are going to feel pretty weak.

Hundings, Ravager, Seventh Legion, Veiled Heritance (Fury if you're in CP pvp) are all sets that will give you a boost to your damage and healing done.

Personally, I'd drop Brass for one of the above sets, in an effort to buff outgoing damage and your own healing done.

Ehh, I couldn't see myself dropping brass at all. I love the set, and the only other options I'm my mind is the set thats exactly like brass but all hp instead of resistances or a sustain set. I rarely run into sustain issues and I stay stacked with potions. A lot of people claim unresistable damage has no counters but in all reality HP has a pretty solid impact on unresistable damage. However I could definitely see changing spriggan for a set that benefits heals. I was running automaton before spriggans but that was when I was running duel wield since bleeds don't benefit from penetration. I have been considering on the next patch dropping brass and race changing to Nord then using two damage sets. Resistance would still be pretty high while getting a huge increase in damage. Ravager seems pretty good but I don't really like the cool down. Many things could go wrong while its up, and when its down, your heals are just as bad. Seventh has a high uptime, but I don't like the other set bonuses much other than the straight weapon damage is nice. It does have a nice synergy with imperial too. Hundings has also been on my mind recently, but something keeps telling me their's got to be a better way then using such an outdated set.

No idea. This was the main reason i stopped playing stamplar. In summerset stamsorcs were a lot more common than they are now, and they would just walk up to me and melt me.

Stamplars are fun, but in my experience they get completely shut down by stamsorcs, stamblades, and magdks.

go 2h/dw you'll want as many bleeds and dots ticking to negate the crit surge, bloodcrazs and, usually, troll kings default healing. then just pump your burst ontop of that.

I feel your build is too defensive and lacks mobility.

I can beat stamsorcs on all medium 5pc hulking 5pc spriggans 2h/bow. If I can get a reliable stun on them with POTL I can burst them down.

Try slotting dawnbreaker of smiting ?

Indeed. That minor expedition is really a gamebreaker! /s

To OP. Like others said, pump your healing up by any means you see fit. Personally, I run with decent crit chance so I prefer Briarheart (wpn dmg + passive healing, although it's only a drop in the ocean) but since you don't like the CD... How about Veiled Heritance?
