The Golden vendor is a special vendor located in one of base camps for each faction in Cyrodiil that only appears on the weekend to sell monster sets that are obtained in the various group dungeons around Tamriel.

That is so sad. They should take the monster helms off the vendor and make people farm them. The minute Zaan is released, all the Zerglings will grab it and then plague the forums with nerf posts. Because they died and it has to be the helm and nothing else.

Exodium✭✭✭✭I hate to be elitist in this sense but I hope the golden doesn't sell dlc monster helms like zaan, Earthgore anymore.
It's annoying seeing people who clearly never have stepped foot into vet bloodroot being carried in pvp by the Earthgore proc. Well done to those who earned their Earthgore, you guys can at least have some sense of merit using a clearly overperforming set in pvp.
Can imagine the amount of magicka Nb gankers who would equip zaan if they sold it, yet who wouldn't no where to start in vet scalecaller peak.

Fair point, however from my experience the gear doesn't always make someone more effective or a better player. I guess it can work both ways situationally with procs.0 -
