Well tbh I havent seen any content creators of recent post tanking vids on anything other than DK. I mostly just wanted to know if anyones done it before and what sets/skills they used.

You aren't looking in right places then. But you can get away with same tank skills in each class for most part and change things as you go.
Hi guys!
So Ive been wanting to do vet blackrose prison and there's a shortage of tanks that I've found to do it..
I've decided I might try and tank it myself but unlike the dragon knight tank meta, I want to try to do it on my sorcerer.
Has anyone had any experience tanking vet blackrose prison on a sorcerer? If so please let me know the build you used. For those that haven't done it on a sorcerer feel free to also recommend a build that would work and any tips doing it on a sorcerer.
BTW this isn't for score runs or anything but just for completion. I know there's seflish sets out there like plague doctor, leeching plate, batallion defender that could work so yeah post your recommendations

Possible only when healer throw you resources and infused jewellery poison enchants with tripods on argonians. Otherwise it will be very difficult to sustain with dark deal alone. Argonian DK or warden is the way to go for comfortable perma blocking. You cannot beat DK with sorc on PVE tanking atleast for now.

It is possible, but very tough. The reason is that you have to face a lot of defile and bleeds coming in from all three bosses.
The main adavantage of DKs is that they can reflect the attacks of the first and second boss so you do not get the bleed+defile at all and damage the boss at the same time. For the first boss you can use defensive stance since her light attacks are magic projectiles, but for the rest it is very hard to deal with, especially on stage 4 when you face two different bosses at once.
So yeah, this instance is another one where DKs show their superiority. Wardens are also fine since they can absorb most of the damage, but they still get the strong defile and the bleed on top.
Sets like plague doctor dont help with that really. If anything, I would suggest using something that boosts your healing taken and ebon. Ebon gives yourself less health, sure. But the group is gonna gain more overall than plague doctor gives yourself.
Sets i suggest pairing ebon with:
Leeching Plate
Bahrahas Curse
Livewire
Defending Warrior
All of these boost your healing taken and Heal you for so much in there, especially since they are healing for every target they hit. Since blackrose has a ton of targets to hit with these, and you get hit all the time, they proc left and right. And they can all be front barred. leeching for example has a unique sword and a shield that you can get from lord warden, pretty easy to farm.
Monster setwise i'd suggest going for stonekeeper/earthgore/thurvokun. All fo these have their benefits and drawbacks.

Try this. Though it is described on DK example, it will work for sorc even better IMO.
