    I haven't seen Cyrodiil this fun back since the Imperial City was added (before they ruined it). There was actual FIGHTS and not zerg balls ruining the map.

    Here's an idea. Keep the siege like this on all the servers except one.

    Make that last one a zerg ball map. Because they're the ones dying to the siege. Not actual players who... You know- Can actually move out of the telegraph.

    Keep siege-OP a thing
    It encourages actually playing objective, taking keeps and resources. It evens out big/small groups a bit, and it requires a little strategy. You need not only to break walls/door, but you need to keep your siege healthy, and take out enemy counter siege. When broken through the walls, I see potential for a lot more interesting fights, when the defender more or less needs to establish a foothold in the outer keep. I like the idea of "OP siege".

    It's still their problem if they're not watching what's happening. Siege wasn't just intended for walls. It was used to lob flaming rocks at giant groups of people marching in for conquest. It just happens that they're more known for lobbing those things over and at the inner walls. People conveniently also forget this.

    I do agree that just in the field with sieges and there's no keep is kind of stupid. But I'll take it as is, thanks.

    you dont die to siege in Keep fight cause you dont see the aoes you die cause often on pc eu non cp siege are kinda everywhere; cp might be different, cause they were less strong Always in cp campaigns… but non cp Group Play is kinda rip

    It would be cool for it to be active during certain times or events. Just for how much it changes the dynamic. Maybe more things like this could be done. Can't wait for the cursed weapons! :o

    Why do we even act as if this change was intended? It's like ZOS is saying: "Whoopsie, we screwed up. But hey guys, mayyyyyybe it is cool with you all and we save us all the trouble to revert that line of code, right? Right?"

    They literally just toned down the damage of sieges some patches ago! Why on earth would the damage we have now be intended? Seriously, you guys!

    If it is truly beneficial, and people want it fir the CP Campaigns, then keep it. But remove it from non-cp campaigns.

    Sotha has been pretty dead in terms of campaign since it happened. It’s just become a place to farm ap.

    Currently siege in Vivec NA PC can be pretty much ignored until they stack multiple hits in the one place - even then with half decent heals, you’ll be good. It’s a bit of a joke really.

    With the bug, you definitely can not let it tick at all which seems closer to where it should be.

    Maybe it’s somewhat OP, maybe not.

    take a look at non cp vs cp on eu; Queues for non cp are much longer in prime time. most of the time vivec doesnt even have a Queue...on pc eu; it used to be the other way round, but changed since murkmire

    If siege stayed strong like this they would have to rework the entire system. People are sticking siege up in a field to fire at a couple of people at a time. In no-cp cold-fire is hitting for 20k a tick and going through shields so if you don't have a purge you just die.

    It needs to scale off of number of people hit like proxy detonation and only be deploy-able near keeps, towers and bridges.

    Given that the last time siege was buffed, the buff got reverted, I don't see anything that justifies keeping this buff.

    Personally, I like long drawn out sieges once in a while. But night after night of stacked factions trying to push into multiple breaches gets old. It encourages stacking - that way there are people left after the first 30 get melted on the breach. It also encourages PvDoor, because the best way to capture a keep is to take it before any defenders arrive.

    We've already seen how this plays out with Summerset catapult buffs. Why are we up for round 2 when that buff got reverted?

    Use your own to take them out, or breach multiple walls. Taking theirs out isn't always easy but you can always attack the side doors of the keep as well and spread the defenders out.

    you probably just Play with 100 of your own alliance in your back; tho it wouldnt even work if you are in a grp of 12 vs 30+

    No, open field seige battles would be boring. No one would ever fight each other. Could there be some tweeking sure, but right now they are stupid OP

    I've moved more toward the 'keep them as is' camp since the patch.

    It's not impossible and more rewarding busting something or defending.
    The counter siege is just as hard to deal with. hopefully

    Kiddies, if you want strong siege engines, just play noCP. Take them training wheels off and come on in. We've had really strong siege engines for ages.

    I think ZOS will come back with it at some sort of middle ground between what it was and what it is now, hopefully also adjusting it for no CP as well and I think it will be good.
