Please tell me you get SOMETHING for map completion?

Guild Wars 2 has a nice bonus if you complete a map. Having this interface is nice but pointless unless you get some sort of reward for map completion.

You're talking to the wrong guy about that. Gamer Dad here, 48. I level just to level. Heck, I enjoyed leveling through Classic WoW just for the journey, over and over again.
The reward is the journey, however if you make a nice new spiffy interface with nice icons, swish sounds, a way to track it, etc, it is just calling for some type of reward for finishing a zone.1 -

Each zone has its own achievements, like a dye, some furnishings, skyshards, and in the end, if you complete all zones (I talk about exploration) you can buy a map of Tamriel (furnishing) and a skyshard, if you get all of them.
P.S. I played WoW too (more years than ESO) and I say ESO does a better job at making you explore and rewarding you for what you do[PC/EU] Tamriel Hero, Stormproof, Grand Master Crafter0
