So now that we get different material rewards from completing our crafting dailies, including ones for the current tier of writs we can do, how do people like it? Personally, I'm thrilled! It makes more sense to me that we'd get back raw materials for use on our current tier of writs than for lower-tier writs, though I do understand the rationale they initially had for doing it the other way. This seems like a great compromise!

But before you never even got the highest stuff.
I didn't need it. Only my main, out of 10 toons, has all the passives unlocked. Getting higher then the lowest mats on the toons that don't have any of the passives unlocked is useless to me. I mostly just do writs while waiting for the group finder to pop, I don't do writs on all ten every day, maybe only one or two toons. And the only reason I even started doing them on all toons is because of that time you could get extra boxes that had motifs in them, made quite a bit of gold selling them. I also don't have the crafting bag, so I can't even save the 5 mats from each to sell in large quantities, like I did with the 25 from my main. I also don't want to find the 30-50 skill points I would need per toon to max each crafting skill out.
That being said, I can see the value for other people.0 -
commdt✭✭✭✭Love itIt is a very good change obviously because:
1. Now you can almost self sustain on mats for crafting dailies (if my math is correct), at least you will have to buy a lot less
2. The prices for those mats will go down which is even more economy
Personally I would like to get more current tier rewards and less lower teir, if any. Because now i have thousands of them and the situation wont change as you need to craft like no more than 1 set for every tier for your twinks and if you are just low level in crafting, you can get you current mats through gathering or same writsRawr2 -
