ZOS doesn't makes changes after PTS. We're stuck with these until the next racial re-balance, usually every 2-3 years.
I am scratching my head over this. I do not recall any significant racial changes and especially re-balancing before this one.
Where exactly are you getting this 2-3 year thing from?
Removing the bosmer sneak passive was pointless, should the remove the + spell or weapon damage or the +2000 resources most have because its not unique?Wildberryjack wrote: »Honestly I feel they screwed up on only one race, Bosmer. So now if we want to have a thief we HAVE to use Khajiit, we no longer have two races to chose from. That stealth passive is too strong to do without.
For the rest of the races, I like the changes. Finally I can play something other than an Altmer for a Mag build. Finally I can play something other than a Redguard for a Stam build. Before I could sure, if I wanted to gimp my DPS bad.

2 years ago ish Zeni did their first racial passives balanacing. just to point that out there (early day argonian vs yesterdays argonians vs todays argonians) so there has been changes before, just not an overhaul like this was.
Meanwhile, the changes to racial passives happened because "the community" asked for it in the first place...
Seriously, there is just no winning. Someone will always feel ignored, someone will always feel listened to. I'd prefer it if this was acknowledged instead of painting it with an obviously false "ZoS ignored the community."
MLGProPlayer wrote: »Are you surprised that, as usual, ZOS ignored the community?
Here's a paradoxical mindblower for you.
Some people don't like the changes = ZOS doesn't listen to the community
Some people like the changes = ZOS listens to the community
The one thing that is consistent is the complainers. The type that would win 10 million dollars in the lottery, and end up complaining, because of the taxes.
They are, the big dps parse test should be pinned with the header. The racial passives are actually more even from a DPS perspective. I kinda wish the utility passives had come out more balanced, but it is what it is.

Also, I am using Stam for my khajiit, not Orc. Don't assume anything.
Happily used my first race-change token to make my Redguard Stamblade a Khajiit as soon as I logged in, first thing I did.
Look at that pretty tail!
Redguard stamsorc is staying Redguard.
Haven't changed anything to an Orc yet.
I just wanted to see a buff/revamp of the least used classes to bring them up to speed with every other race... Other than that, no. Not surprised in the slightest given their track record. I look forward to the butchering of the CP system and whatever hell they bring in after

@LiquidPony
I am willing to bet your DPS is also just fine with that "inferior" Khajiit.

Catblade DPS is more than good enough for me!
The community does not have the same opinion.
The community was unhappy how strong altmer and khajitt were, and that dunmer were basically eclipsed by altmer.
So they nerf altmer and khajitt, and now different players have issues.

Hmm...I must live in a different community. I don't know ANYONE that was initially whining about racial passives. There's far more to the ESO community than a minuscule percentage that are forum members.
That being said, after the Nerfmire debacle I decided it was better for my mental health to just ignore what ZOS does in the name of "balance". When the game stops being fun because of all these smart people making "interesting" adjustments, I'll find something better to do.
