The community was unhappy how strong altmer and khajitt were, and that dunmer were basically eclipsed by altmer.

Seriously, there is just no winning. Someone will always feel ignored, someone will always feel listened to. I'd prefer it if this was acknowledged instead of painting it with an obviously false "ZoS ignored the community."26 -

they would’ve addressed the snare and root meta.
Performance in cyro wouldnt be an absolute Embarrassment
And Altmer wouldn’t have such a useless stam regen passive

✭Honestly I feel they screwed up on only one race, Bosmer. So now if we want to have a thief we HAVE to use Khajiit, we no longer have two races to chose from. That stealth passive is too strong to do without.
For the rest of the races, I like the changes. Finally I can play something other than an Altmer for a Mag build. Finally I can play something other than a Redguard for a Stam build. "Balancing" was requested, but many of the specific changes were not even requested by the community.

✭✭NoWith all the feedback about Bosmers.. i had a tiny hope it might had been able to keep the Stealthy lore-friendly passive even after last PTS note as a ninja change to Live.
But no, was not surprised.

How does that make sense? He specifically said he doesn't like the Orc changes becauae they pigeon-hole all endgame stamina players into playing them.9 -

Uhh what? The problem wasn't Altmer being too strong, it was Dunmer not being good enough of a mag race as they were on live. So ZOS buffs Dunmer and nerfs Altmer so now they're eclipsed by Dunmer.1 -

Uhh what? The problem wasn't Altmer being too strong, it was Dunmer not being good enough of a mag race as they were on live. So ZOS buffs Dunmer and nerfs Altmer so now they're eclipsed by Dunmer.

I won't argue that, but I wouldn't expect all changes to the game be based on community requests. For all we know, the pass on racial passives was going to happen regardless of whether or not it was asked for. Folks respond to the changes in different ways. Some of the things they've done I like (whether or not it was requested) and some I don't. I find it more honest to state that rather than translate "me and some other people didn't like this" to "the community didn't like this." It's not true - the community is diverse and do not have the same opinions on these matters.
That said, we'd probably be hard-pressed to find anyone happy with the stealth passive removal from Bosmer. What concerns me more about that change is the fact that this patch introduces a lot of changes that strongly favor PvP concerns. It makes me wish now more than ever that the two game modes were divorced entirely, but it especially pisses me off when something like a racial is relevant ONLY in PvP contexts.4 -

The one thing that is consistent is the complainers. The type that would win 10 million dollars in the lottery, and end up complaining, because of the taxes.13 -

Happily used my first race-change token to make my Redguard Stamblade a Khajiit as soon as I logged in, first thing I did.
Look at that pretty tail!
Redguard stamsorc is staying Redguard.
