Poison immune Argonian no longer a thing? Well, maybe some genius alchemist created a new poison to specifically infect Argonians with it, something like the reverse Knahaten Flu.
There you have it, 100% lore compatible and easy to adapt to.
(Ab)using lore to somehow fit the narrative why nerfs/adjustments suck is quite shallow.
