REALTIME BOT REPORT & RESPONSE

Ran into another BOT lately? The scripts are becoming more complicated ans sophisticated and are not easy to pick up with generic software. I feel the solution is a very easy to use reporting system that requires 1 click by a novice player which deploys a ZOS employee to you very much like the normal grouping system where if you are invited to group you would travel to leader. The ZOS employee would then take immediate action against said accounts.

This could easily be set up on multiple platforms so one person could deal with them. ZOS could perhaps offer a bounty of crowns or whatever for the successful reporting of bot trains?

What do you think?

    You will know by the train of players running in a straight line from one resource node to the other. Just google bots eso on YouTube.

    Real time response isn't likely just because of man hours needed.

    However a much simpler tool to report bots would be nice, I really wish on PC we could just mouse over and right click them. :disappointed:

    It would be impossible to have employees running around to every corner of the world
    I really wish this could work but its simply inphesable
    What would work best is after a bot report is sent have one of those confirm I’m not a robot things

    Or better yet make a game of it
    Have a randomly generated simple maze with a treasure at the end

    It scans for detects and reports bots automatically
    Read how in the add on description

    And then they just need more bots to spam report and ZOS employees are stuck in an infinite loading loop because they're teleported constantly \o/

    That would require them to fix the group tool, not going to happen, so its a non starter just on that point alone.

    But lets just say they fixed the grouping tool, getting a response off forum community managers/people who are supposed to respond to the community and dont, is next to non excistent, so the chance of getting any kind of GM in game, is again a non starter.

    10 out of 10 for the thought though.

    I would mouse over each one of the bots and report every time I saw a bot train individually
    I’d even start ga zone group sometimes so tht multiple people could report the bots

    That system, especially with a 20000 crown possible reward, will be prone to many false positives, wasting a ton of resources. Additionally your suggestion is inherently manual which multiplies the costs by an unknown but most likely very large factor.

    I would have voted "no" but your poll options has much bias, I don't think the current system is adequate, but I also don't see any viable real time response solutions that are anywhere near cost-effective.

    Please make better polls in the future.

    The bot trains are in the same places every day, no need to report them a zos employee could just visit while having a cuppa tea and ban them, but they do not.

    I am calm. You ask us what we think and I gave you my reply of what I think. Your poll contains bias and I kindly asked that you make better polls in the future. I hope we can agree at least that polls should not contain bias?

    Those are the ones you see

    Coding recently mimics individual players running around on their own and also flooding PvP play areas where they just stand in the Alliance base.

    It's new botters that still have trains of about 10 bots running around greatsword overhead, those are easily to counter code against.

    By utilising RPA, and entire cloud based workforce of GM bots could be moderating the bot situation, triggered by player reports, completing investigation and handing off final action to a human where intervention is required.

    Bots should be used to combat bots -- it's the only way!
