What the actual Heck ? Spears are NOT thrown weapons. There is ONE thing you never do with a spear, and it's throwing it. Spears are long reach stabby melee weapons.
That taken into account, I'd love spears ingame. Proper ones, not thrown :P

I would be satisfied with a more intricate Click-Attack system that allows for Weapon combos that don't look super Clunky and uncoordinated or cost Stam or Magicka but give weapons a use beyond Skill spamming or the long and drawn out, boring heavy attacks when you are out of resources...1 -

- Spear: melee weapon, more efective with stamina morphs.
