Dunmer

Dunmer have always been my favorite race (blame TES: III). It seems they’ll be decent enough for both magicka and stamina DPS so I plan on possibly doing both on my main. I don’t min/max or run group content, and prefer the RPG element of the game to numbers so it suits me fine.

Khajiit

Been a proud Khajiit NB since beta - and had a magicka build almost as long

Will probably stick to it as long as I play the game.

I have no clue what to m make my Necromancer, but I'm leaning towards Breton or Dunmer

Edit: Then again Altmer worked well for Mannimarco. Or I could make a rebel Redguard since they're culturally anti-necromancy lol

If there are some stem options for necromancer or health use options looking to another orc or redguard

Picture there will be given necros sometimes use their own life force to do things like blood and such

I don't really have a main race, but ATM I have the most characters argonian and I don't plan on race changing them for meta. I might change them for other reasons but doubtful.

Altmer

Highelf, don't get me wrong. I despise the spell recharge change. 3rd worst thing zos has ever done was these race changes.

I'm just not playing along with this whole switch just because zos nerfs something deal.

Khajiit

I keep my characters as who they are as they are people with stories I made. Changing race wouldn't make sense for them.

I've always been fond of the Khajiit, with the Argonians as a close second, and that's not changing any time soon

None of the above. I don’t “main,” I create characters. I also like diversity. None of my characters are the same race. As I have not exhausted all the race options, it will be a while (if ever) before I have more than one of a race.

Khajiit

Same as always. There's no real reason to change races (and names). The changes aren't absolute, undeniable nerfs that lead to a race being a liability (akin to "throwing") except for the top 1% of 1% and even then if you're able to do that content, you can probably do it with "off-meta" races (give yourself a challenge); and chasing the meta is a good way to go crazy and waste a lot of time and real money.

For foreseeable time, my main will be Argonian, because I'm rolling a new Argonian next week (as I want a frost warden and Argonians make the ice skin look best).

Breton

My main is staying the same. She's a Templar and I really enjoy the way that class plays.

I do want to make a new alt though. Not sure what I want to create. Considering a sneak thief (Khajiit) and maybe a Redguard or Bosmer Warden (bow and bear).

My main is an Altmer, he's staying an Altmer

Once Elsywer launches my main may be a Breton because so far in every game I've ever played that had a Necromancer class it ended up being my favorite.

I already play my Breton healer a lot. Wrathstone won't change that, but the juicy buff makes it more exciting.
My Bosmer however is very sad that she got her identity stolen! No numerical buff can make up for that.

i dunno yet...but plan to main necro unless i dont like it....dunmer seems to fit lorewise but also i don't have to decide yet on stamina or magicka and am flexible...maybe i change my mind....khajiit and nords are my other fav's

Couple of observations;

1) Judging by the selected races, I guess a lot more people have magicka builds then stamina builds. I knew magicka was more popular but not by that much.

2) For the stam races I am surprised Orcs are not getting more votes, in basically all of the DPS parses I have seen they always seem to be on top, followed closely by Redguards (Who also should be getting more votes).

I do not always let race determine my character class or attribute allocation.

Dunmer

I think I might turn my Redguard into a Dummer since they will be the best choice for a hybrid build. Since I don't do group content and just solo I can freely play as I want too.
