Weakening enchantment effect?

Hi there. I am trying to figure out just how much damage this enchantment mitigates when applied to a boss. I can't find any info on the forums or youtube.

Does every monster and boss have individual weapon/spell powers and this enchant affects them differently depending on the power of the mob?

Good question, never thought about using this enchantment on anything other than a PVP healer.

All pve mobs are impacted by it, wether they are mages or melee. The thing is though, the more damage the mobs puts out, the more weapon damage they have, so the less of an impact the enchantment has, Ie, a mud crab has like 1000 weapon damage and bogdans has 5000, the mud crabs damage is going to be lowered by ~35% with the default 348 weakening but bogdans is only going to lower the damage out put by ~13%, note these number are made up and just for examples. I still run it on my tanks because there is really no other good option for a tank, it does lower the damage for the whole group and lowers the bosses mechanics damage.

That makes sense. Is there a source of information I could check out that shows dungeon boss weapon/spell power?

I'm just trying to decide if weakening is worth using on a one hander next patch.

Even if it still reduced the damage of a boss by 3 to 5% it seems worth it but currently I have no idea!

The related question is whether healers should all start using Infused weapons with Weakening glyphs (until such time as the 1 hander enchantment nerf gets reverted).

I'm leaning toward making that switch.
