Why do you play MMOs?

because i like to play with people (friends/randoms)
To be fair this is the only MMO I play, generally, I tend to stick to single player games, but I love TES and part of me is socially deprived so having human interaction, even online I suppose is an alluring thing when you are unable to meet and talk to people IRL.
    Hoping for more playable races

I like the amount of content compared to most single player games.

I hate the way MMO's have to conform to some secret code about how an MMO should work though, I have yet to play an MMORPG that does not use the exact same skillbar style setup with static npc,s static quest givers, static quest locations and basically a world that is entirely static apart from the other people exploring the canvas.

Because sometimes a game can be both an MMO and an RPG set in an appealing world, with appealing quests, and appealing gameplay. ESO is clearly both and just as some are interested in it primarily as an MMO, I enjoy it as an RPG. There's a reason that pre-release ZOS avoided calling it an MMO, because they didn't wish to telegraph it as targeted at a particular audience.
