Housing suggestion - Mara bonded chars on same land/property deed

We have in-game marriage. Some players such as myself have a spouse who is just as much into TESO as I am, and we run our characters together. We mara-bond our characters mainly for the XP bonus of questing together as a married couple who also grouped up with one another. We're also both premium account holders.

What I and my spouse would both like to see is the ability to add one's spouse to the property deed, so that we both co-own the estates we have. That would give my spouse full rights to decorate, add items, etc around the house & property as I have.

It's not possible to co-own now, and probably will never be, but you can delegate the right to another player to decorate and add items.

My SO and I would also appreciate this, because my SO is the one that maintains our friends guild house and it would be nice if we could co-manage it.

    However...

The Mara rings are per character, not account. So that might be iffy to implement.

And I really doubt ZOS wants to becone a divorce court in the event that there is a falling out or a friend grabs all the housing stuff or something.

I hadn't thought of that - yeah that could get really dicey for them... nevermind!

My husband has decorator privileges on at least one of my houses, but I'd be reluctant to give up my choice to purchase each available house in order to become a co-owner with him. It seems to me much better to handle the desire to build a common home via privileges, allowing both for changes in circumstance (character not necessarily real life changes) and for the non-owner to decorate a copy of the house differently to suit different character/s, which you might or might not choose to play together. I've had many characters I mostly played with my husband, but for me an important technique for keeping those characters relatively in sync, is having other characters I can play when he's not available.
