Dont u think it would be a good and also easy to make thing, to be able to make any armor part invisible in the style menue?
Not only the helmet
It could improve some outfits, by getting rid of the, sometimes, unneccessary shoulderparts or belts

    As I once mentioned elsewhere:
The most reasonable thing we can expect...
...is for them to sell "invisible armor" motiv pages in the crown store.

I mean, the suits in charge certainly won't send a code-jockey to spend their paid time programming the hide function for all outfit slots without wanting to see some profit, right?

But selling people the option... that would appeal to their shriveled greedy little hearts, right? :p;)

As for the lore... well, I already said it. "Invisible Armor". Enchanting your sturdy armor with an invisibility spell, to lure your foe into a false sense of security...
I mean, look at this guy:

...and that is -still- something they could reasonably do sometime to bring those who want to show off their tats the option to go "barbarian", or to let some people have outfits without floating shoulder pieces or whatnot... and make a profit from it.

They could sell it all together like one of those weapon packs, or they could hide the seperate "invisible armor" pages in crown crates, with varying rarity... like, invisible shoulder pads or belt buckles could be uncommon, boots and gloves rare, and the chest piece extra-rare... while witholding the pants part so people at least are forced to wear -something- on the battlefiend, even the worst "barbarians"... I could easily see that happening.

    So could I...

(and don#t we all wish our eyes had never been soiled by that sight of a drunken nord hobo? :p;) )

Anyhow, the argument against "Elder Nudes Online" was valid before these "skimpy" costumes, and I kinda still would wish they'd split all the costumes into "combat costumes" like armors and such that would stay on during combat, and something like "civilian costumes" that unequip automatically when you take damage, just like disguises...

...or maybe make a function that sorts costumes by armor "weight" and reduces your armor protection when you wear them to the costumes maximum (so a "thief leather" costume would reduce you to medium armor protection even when wearing heavy, and a "bather towel" would reduce you to "no armor")...

...but alas, I gotta accept that they are not likely to spend the effort coding that since it nets them no profits, so I too will grind my teeth on this and just enjoy the game as we have it... and just go with the assumption that ALL the costumes are in truth illusion disguises, just like during the Orsinium questline (remember Eveli Sharp-Arrow and what happens during the Vosh-rakh base infiltration?)

Then it all makes sense again, and if people can dash onto the battlefield in nordic bather towels or redguard dancer silks, they can certainly apply an "turn this chainmail shirt invisible so I can show off my awesome tatoos and/or manly muscles" enchantment to their battle armor... for an extra cost in crowns so ZOS would have some incentive to actually go and code the thing!

I think i wouldnt be much of an effort, to code this
    No designs needed
Just show the default and its fine?
This should be for free o:
Some shoulders and belts are just in the way, for a robe or light armor
