Another CP PvP Question

I have been playing mostly non-CP PvP (BGs/Cyrodiil) and in my opinion, I do quite well.
The problem lies is that I am about 375 CP. When I play CP PvP, I say I either do "meh" or get absolutely demolished with 7-9K damaging attacks.
Does the 375 vs 810 CP make that much of a difference?
I play on a Medium Armor StamSorc.

✭✭✭✭✭Assuming you've adjusted your build/gear for CP PVP, yes, it does.
In comparison, enemy players will have more well-rounded builds than those you face in No CP. Tankier, more damage, and more sustain, and thus more resistant to proc sets. It's not that you can't do well at low CP, but you will have to make up for that deficit with experience/skill. So against skilled CP players, yes, it will make a difference.5 -

It's a massive advantage.
Whilst the player above is correct that you have to make it up with experience / skill, which is obviously possible - I'd argue that on the whole, that'll only apply to average builds and players. Still learning everything as I go. I'm fairly confident in my ability to play I do just think I am hindered by my CP levels.

✭✭✭My first venture into CP enabled campaigns was nothing but frustration, despite having maximum CP.
So I switched to non-CP for a few months, until I mastered basic PvP skills: situational awareness, resource management, my class abilities, countering opponents, etc.
You will deal with many of the same challenges in both CP and non-CP campaigns, but the non-CP will be a level playing field for you while you learn the basics and earn CP.
Once you hit high or max CP, f you wish to try CP enabled campaigns, all that non-CP experience will pay off. Either way, you'll be a better player for it.

i believe you mean max stamina, mag and hp when you say their pools? if so, the max stat you gain from CP is capped when you get to 300 champion points, so from 300CP to 810CP you gain no further max stat from just having the CPPvP - Stamina Warden - Stamina Templar - Stamina Dragonknight - Stamina Nightblade
