Grind for Fighters Guild 10

Is it to long of a grind? I know they give you some quest to do, but the experience seems a bit low, I feel like leveling fighters guild just to get dawn breaker can take hours, I have been in sky reach all day, popping 150% scrolls or 100%. and still feel like the grind to get dawn breaker is very long. Anyone have a faster suggestion? I could of sworn it never took this long to get before.

Kill the right mobs - anywhere, overland, dolmens... Undead, Daedra.... (tagging at a dolmen gets you 1 point per mob)
Get a group together and share all the daily quests from them you all can get

If you want to grind it I think dolmens are probably the best place to do it. Or anywhere undead or daedra respawns. You get 1 point per kill.

I alway feel that fighters guild is the easiest and quickest to level. Kill a few dolmens and done.
Never had to grind specifically for it anyway.

well at least it fills over time unlike mages guild, but yeah its annoying.

Skyreach runs though level it up so fast but its tough for a new player you can get someone to carry you, I do it for 5k a run

never had to grind for this. Do you ever do dungeons? a lot of them are full of daedra and undead and usually for me it fills up passively, or while leveling undaunted.

Nah it’s easy. You pretty much level it up without thinking about it. Just play the game normally and it’ll be there in no time. Doing the FG quests and dailies help a bit too.

That doesn't help at all. As others have already said the fighters guild skill line isn't leveled with regular exp but by killing undead/daedra/werewolves. Exp boosts don't help with that.

The trick is to just get a hit on dolmen npc dont try to kill anything let others kill. You need to hit to get 1 point .
I use bow even on magic characters . Spam light atacks and the spay.

I think I was below 300 cp at the time and didn’t really have any idea how to gear. Was a magblade though so the passive healing made it easier. Anyways I was just farming for the public dungeon in Deshaan for Mother’s Sorrow. Think I was lvl 2 in fighters guild when I started I’m pretty sure I was only in there between 2 to 4 hours before suddenly it said I’d hit lvl 10 in fighters guild. Was kinda funny cause I wasn’t even trying.

Just run a zone's dolmen rotation. You get fighters guild, and jewelry to decon.

It basically adds 1 point per deadra/undead you kill. There are the quests, daily, and I think completing an anchor also levels it. Just don't be like me and forget to join the Fighter's Guild until you are almost completely done grinding a new character through an anchor rotation.

As an alternative to focusing on leveling Fighters Guild to 10, I just focus on doing the main faction quests for leveling and Skill Points. By the time you're done with your home faction's main quests and Coldharbour, if you haven't hit fighters guild lvl 10, you'll be super close. The main quests are a great way to kill many birds with one stone.

If you're getting close and are impatient to unlock Dawnbreaker, like me, hop over to a nice public dungeon that's all undead or daedra. My favorite for this is Deshaan's public dungeon, The Forgotten Crypts. They respawn super fast, and the many undead bosses count for extra points, so it makes it a breeze. I find this to be much, much faster for leveling fighter's guild than even a really solid dolmen rotation.

Fighters guild is one of the easiest, if not the easiest, guild lines to level. Now the Mage’s guild, oh man, always takes me so much longer to hunt down all of those lore books...

Pop one of those free daily reward xp scrolls and hit up the dolmens at Alikr for a couple of hours. Easiest to grind, also very boring and monotonous.

Go to Deshaan public dungeon, it contains skeletons/ghosts that respawn often because there are lots of players farm zone set.

OP, just in case it hadn't been made clear yet by others' comments, XP scrolls and pots do not help you to unlock Dawnbreaker. The scrolls & pots are specifically to buff XP, and the FG skill tree is leveled not at all by any XP earnings, but instead by killing Daedra, and possibly from other FG related activities, I can't remember for sure. So anything that helps you to kill daedra, like roaming the countryside in Coldharbour or doing a lot of (boring) laps on the Alik'r dolmens, as previously mentioned by other posters, will go a long way to get you to Dawnbreaker.

And then, as far as the scrolls & pots, they will help you to level your FG skills including Dawnbreaker, once you have them unlocked and on your hotbar, so you'll want to choose the best times to use them judiciously.

Imperial City, Dolmens, Certain Maelstrom Arenas ... lots of Daedra & Undead to kill.
Yep, it can be a tedious grind but it's worth it for Dawnbreaker.

just run dolmen in the alikr desert and you can level character and skills at the same time and make a bit of gold...doesnt take long with xp scrolls

    Also:
    • The main quest.
    • Questing in Coldharbour.
    • Certain dungeons, public dungeons, delves or overworld areas.

Often good places to get Fighters Guild rep and to grind XP are the same; examples include dolmens, as well as anything populated with zombies.

you need to kill ~125 dolmens for that
so its 2nd longest guild grind, first is Undaunted

    @LordGavus

It also levels while questing and doing dungeons.
I never paid attention to how much it takes because it passively levels so fast its not an issue.

Though i suppose if when making a new character your first move is to level FG, it might feel like a grind.
If you level through dungeons and questing, you barely notice it.

When I remember to unlock the skill line early on a new character, my Fighter's Guild reaches level 10 before I reach level 50. Maybe 30 of those levels are spent dolmen grinding.
