Dont think so. Ive been all around the place 100 times. Cant get in the house without the quest. I dont even know if its shareable. I hope so.0

No, the quest isnt shareable. You have to group with someone who is doing the quest and then follow them inside. It lets you in this way. I'm lucky a nice lady helped me but it still cost me 60k. I got 3 books tho so worth it0 -

No she was nice. She stuck around and made sure i got the books, even after i paid her. Is her time and effort not worth a bit of gold? She had to drop what she was doing and come and do this quest for me just so i could get some books.3 -

I would have done it for free though.

I didnt say she was being nice. I said she was nice. You can still get paid and be nice. I put the offer out there and she took it. I was offering 20k then 30k in zone chat for ages and no one helped. I even stood outside the door and whisper begged people going in to please share the quest and i would pay them 20k. Well 2 or 3 people, none of them responded. They were probably scared or suspicious, 'who is this guy offering 20k for a quest share' Or maybe they just werent interested, idk, but they looked like they could use the gold. i finally had to bump it up to 50 and she was the only one who took interest. Pasha is generous and impatient, thats just how i roll. I got what i wanted, she got a bit of gold, everybody's happy. I'm sure you would have helped me for free tho, thank you!! I didnt say she was mother Teresa

That would be quite annoying, especially since many (like me) had no idea to scour for those when I first started playing and that quest was quite the challenge. (It is much easier now at CP 300, even on a lvl 20 character.)PC

No, not a Mage's guild book. When you finish the Mage's Guild questline you get Eidetic Memory, which makes it so that a new section shows in the Lore Library area where you can read every single book/letter/note you've ever opened before or after you got that ability on that character.
There's no actual achievement for collecting all of the Eidetic Memory books, but it's something some people like to do because it's incredibly difficult (and most of the time of the year - impossible for most characters, whether because of some books only being available at certain quest stages or for other reasons)0 -
