Battle Spirit Changes

When was the last time Battle Spirit was adjusted/changed? Looking at the current battle spirit I think these changes would be very good for it.

I’d do the following:

Increase Health by 2000 instead of 5000
Keep reduce damage taken by 50%
Keep the shield strength reduction
Increase the healing received reduction to 60-65%
Completely remove the range abilities increase distance
Reduce snares effectiveness by 50%



What do you guys think should be added, changed, and etc with regards to Battle Spirit?

    Yeah.. all that needs done is major gallop needs to be added. Why give 2k extra health? If I run into a competent player we usually fight for 10 minutes and get bored and leave already, why exactly do we need more health?

    Yeah.. all that needs done is major gallop needs to be added. Why give 2k extra health? If I run into a competent player we usually fight for 10 minutes and get bored and leave already, why exactly do we need more health?

    My apologies for not being more clear it is to reduce the max health bonus from 5000 to 2000

    I really like the idea of major Gallup being added passively.

    Maybe you didn’t play back when battle spirit was 50% damage resistance, maybe you don’t remember.

    I remember.

    I made a Nightblade that could hit 21k Snipes from stealth and literally 1-shot people. We don’t need that to exist anymore.

    People are building too Tanky nowadays and are overly focused on survival even if it makes them ineffective in fights.That’s annoying to deal with, but that’s a player behavior issue and less of a game balance issue.

    - Max health bonus is fine at 5k, reducing it will screw the few people who still commit to light/medium armor builds more than they have screwed themselves.
    - Agreed, keep damage reduction at 50%.
    - Agreed, keep shield potency at 50%.
    - Reducing healing received any further is a joke. Damage received and healing received need to stay the same in my opinion. If you want your target to have less healing, think about slotting Major Defile.
    - Aside from Snipe+morphs, changing the range increase of abilities is unnecessary. I don't play in Cyrodiil anymore, and haven't in ages, but I disagree with this one as well.
    - Snare reduction, no. There are ways to mitigate snares entirely if you build into it. However, I do think that all 70% snares need to be tuned down a little bit, bringing them down to 60%.
