Maybe its time to introduce decent mailing system after all these years?

Right now in-game mail is just a draft, there is so many easy things which could improve it significantly:
1. Refreshing mail is a pain. I cant even guess how it was coded, the only thing I know is if I want to refresh my mail (get new mail) I just must take a wayshrine to another location or enter a home. It is the most stupid thing I ever saw. Why not just refresh a mailbox on opening? Or at least add button to refresh it on demand?
2. Send mail from context menu. From chat box, guild roster or friend list. It is a pain to type some @evilhellraizeronadoomsday3478634986 every time I want to send a mail (and I happen to do it pretty often)
3. Simple "Reply" option, jez, even addons can make it easily
4. Though more complicated then previous points but also important: List of sent letters, in case you want to make sure you really sent it and didnt put something wrong, or just to remember something. Keep them for a day for this cause

Please, ZOS, give us a real mail, at least first 3 points. It would take no more than a day of one specialist's time to implement but will save very much time for us players

Now they've done a pass on the Guild Stores I hope they don't stop and continue doing passes on systems, the mail system being one which also needs it a lot.

Prob not every time you open mail window because some people regularly open mail window to check certain addons like mm.

It may cause a load issue if everyone is requesting a mail check needlessly. A check mail button on a 30 second timer would be ideal.

Hi Mate, I'm totally with you with this. I'm happy iat last someone is thinks like me. It's great idea and they should make email comes without teleport. Also you can read my article where I say same old bugs should be changed:

Actually tho #2, you can mail from whisper / chat. Maybe even guild roster no?

Through addon only, I guess Shissu does that. But I have so many addons for every bit my game barely loads at all

It took them this long just to add a text search to guild trader. I wouldn't expect a proper mail system until next game.

5 years for a Guild Store update (sorry for the salt overdose) but don't hold your breathe on Friends/Guild Options/Mail System getting upgraded anytime soon. I know you only mentioned Mail but it's basically the whole UI & User-to-User system that needed overhauling years ago before the communities deserted this game.

2016 would have been good. Now? Too late.

Ohgod, if they could just fix #1, I'd be over the moon. To actually receive items I've puchased without having to port all over Tamriel would be a dream.

Of course it's logically reasonable to travel to another location to get all your mail. It's because the roads are infested with all those putpockets and patchpurses, that give you mail on crossroads. Can't go out of the city without someone's hand putting something papery into my pocket. They just can't get inside the city walls, being outlaws and all.

You can mail from guild roster on console, not sure about through chat tho, maybe?

All of those things would be fantastic but would really love a reply option!
