(and yet, I still end up doing it. /facepalm)
edit: heck, this is true for any game, not just MMOs. Makes you think though. The ones enjoying the game are the ones who are actually playing it. The ones not enjoying are those who are just beating their test dummies, using spreadsheets, and scouting the forums looking for opportunities to show off their authority over the game.

I talked to a game designer about this once. He said he believes people get so heated about this stuff because they are so passionate about the game. It's not out of hate or spite, but out of love they critique the game so harshly. Like the developers, we players want our favorite game to be the best game it can be. However, we all have our own image of perfection, and not everyone can have their perfection without ruining someone else's.4 -

You do realize this is the one place where people who have problems with the game can actually communicate with ZOS.
It should be quite obvious why these forums have a negative bias, because, you know, that's where people come to air their frustrations.
