A little over 3 months from now, we will finally be able to play a Necromancer class. And as far as concept art, as well as details from @ZOS_RichLambert during the reveal stream, I think it's fair to say this class is going to be heavily influenced by the Diablo 3 Necromancer class. Is this a bad thing? Not at all. In fact, I think that's their best place to look when it comes to making this class a reality in ESO. With many similarities between the two, be it passive skills, class based abilities, set gear, over 10 gear slots, an end game leveling system, variants of each ability, and so on, they very much should pull inspiration from it. Of course, because ESO has a heavy focus on PvP, things will have to be far more balanced in the end. But I feel if you want a taste of what's to come to ESO, revisit, or take the chance to look at how the Necromancer from Diablo 3 plays. Using corpses to your advantage, creating armor made of bone, conjuring skeletal mages and bombers, etc. This looks very promising in it's early stages, and I can't wait to see what they bring to the table in terms of passives, and morphs.

Yes that's bad i don't know any one that bought that class do to it not having perm pets witch doctor was more d2 necro than the necro was

Diablo 2 necro eq1/2 necro did it best all other failed in some way or another for me that's why this class will prob be 1 big disappointment to me but hey it's just my opinion and i still get tuns of new quests :) so there is that

@Valkysas154 But the D3 Necro has permanent skeletons and a colossus. If you mean pets that never die, then fair enough. They were infinite until death at least, however the skeletons in ESO will run on a timer for sure. As Rich said on the stream, https://twitch.tv/videos/364505191?t=00h42m41s To each their own, I just think they're going in a very good direction with it.

I think it’s fair to say this class is going to feature some heavily OP abilties. That hint at a reserection abilty gives me the chills. Insta res for ball groups lol. Kill it, kill it now.

I have this guess that there will be some strong skills that may have a 1 second cast time to use, maybe one of the healing ones. I also believe there will be some skills that cost health to use, which can be recovered in skill combos of some kind.

The only Necromancer I've played was the one from Skyforge, but I also have fond memories of my time playing LOTRO where healers had inductions to some of their skills.

They're likely going to limit the res count to 3-5 players, as well as give those resurrected a sickness effect preventing them from being instantly resurrected for about 2 minutes. I could be completely off base, but I don't think they'd allow you to res more than maybe 7 people, as it would be fair to Trial groups, and still maintain some order in PvP. Or they can just add a PvP nerf to the skill, making it res less people.
