More like a lorebook or codex with entries about each beast you've encountered.

I wouldn't - I gave away 2k+ books two years ago to step-granddaughter. Too much to dust, and I have an e-reader, so who needs hardbacks? Or even paperbacks....

Because a display can't replace paper.

I don't have an issue with that. I read, I don't make love to paper. A book is for reading, not fondling.

Because the older I get the more I realize that - things - aren't important. As in 2000 + books taking up space and.... the DUST....
Give the physical books to those who can use them. There's no need at all for anything beyond the words.
Seriously. Any book is - the message. That does not depend on a physical presence. Far from it. The message is - non physical....
