Wasnt the Summerset digital upgrade $40 AUS on release? Why does it cost 50% more this time around..? Am I remembering this wrong? Fellow Aussies, didnt Morrowind and Summerset cost us $40 each?

You can check that in your billing history if you bought one. For me, and I live in Russia, Summerset CE upgrade was almost 10$ more expensive than Elsweyr CE upgrade is now. Guess it's have to do something with physical editions being closed.

Going by the collector's edition upgrades since that's what I've purchased each time:

    Morrowind: $99.995AUD
    Summerset: $59.95AUD
    Elsweyr: $74.95AUD

    Definite price flux for them.

I'm waiting this time to purchase the expansion. It will go on sale within a month of release for a pittance compared to the pre-purchase price or, heck, maybe it will end up as a Daily login reward. Just gonna wait this one out. It's too expensive atm.

Price will definitely drop. It will definitely not be a login reward.

    I just checked my records.

    I paid $AUD 59.95 for Morrowind and $AUD 59.95 for Summerset.

Both were Digital upgrades and pre-purchased prior to release.

    Elsweyr is currently $AUD 59.95.

    Seems fair to me.

I'm not gonna buy it and anything else from ZOS, until bethesda start doing something to server perfomance, to make actual balance and different playstyles instead of pigeonholed doll-house we have now.

I thought it was $69 AUD on PS4... and I couldn't get the Standard digital upgrade off the PS4 Store, for either Summerset or Morrowind, as that only had the expensive version(s) - I had to login to the PS Store website.

Why pay them directly when you can just use steam money. Steam money only worth 85% of real money anyways (valve actually take a 30% cut from zos). That’s legit only thing good about steam.

There is no point pre-purchasing games in 2019, especially from a company as shady as ZOS, as you stand to get tied into a low quality product.

I won't buy untill some major issues with the game are going to get fixed.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

Definitely not pre-purchasing. I only took 1 character through both Morrowind and Summerset and am not in any rush to get a Necromancer.

They are based off of Norse Dragons, So they are dragons. That was how they were in Skyrim and also I believe the one was like that too in redguard. In the lore they are dragons even though they might look more like Wyverns. Also Wyverns are a type of a dragon. They come in so many shapes. From real life folk lore. Bethesda too there own take on them and made their own.So one should not expect dragons to look the same in every game.

Bethesda is suffering the same fate/issues EA (StarWars),and others have done. They think fans are so invested, and loyal to their IP's, they can half-ass their games packed full of cash shop, gamble box, sub/pay dlc's, half released, poor performance etc.... blahblah.

If we use todays conversation rates,

Morrowind: AU$55.97 (The upgrade was also US$40 at the time)
    Summerset: AU$55.97
    Elsweyr: AU$59.00

So only a 7% increase as opposed to the 50%, maybe you were confused with the currency?

I like RDR2 just as much as anyone else — Arthur was one of the most fleshed-out characters I've ever had the honor of playing — but I blew through that game's content in a month's time. And, aside from the Old West theme, the PvP in RDR2 is pretty similar to the PvP setups of any number of other shooter-type games out there.

Thats digital collectors though, not the standard digital upgrade.
