Laptop users are SOL
So unfortunately after extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that some users may be unable to play the game due to their laptops incompatibility with the game. Desktop users can go and buy new graphics cards and upgrade to support the game but due to a laptops size it is unable to hold large graphics cards etc. Some older models and some of the newer models (depending on the processor) will never be able to play this game because they will be unable to upgrade their graphics card due to a set limit. This is very unfortunate, this game seems really fun but is not worth buying a new laptop over. This problem will prevent many pc users from being able to experience this game. If you still are unable to play the game, and are using a pc, then you may be SOL.

✭✭✭I dont understand the solution. Are you saying that the game should be playable on some old 5 yr old laptop with built in video? If you want to game buy a gaming laptop.0 -
SuperScrubby✭✭✭Laptops are inherently worse than a desktop due to their cooling capabilities. Even gaming laptops suffer from that issue. Realistically unless you spend an arm and a leg on a gaming laptop you won't be able to really play any modern day game.
Build a cheap gaming desktop, they're more powerful than laptops anyways.0 -
Yeah, Laptops are not made for gaming. They are meant to be work horses for word processors and little things like that.0 -
I played this game in beta on my old i3 laptop with intel hd video. You can't get worse of a video card than that in a current laptop, and it played well just at low settings. It was four years(ish) old and a bargain special when I bought it. My new laptop plays it very well with a gtx860m.0

The great thing about this game is that the difference between lowest and ultra settings is so vast that is allows a lot of wiggle room in the system specs.0
