Warmaiden Not Buffing Twisting Path

Did I miss something? I'm using this on my NB with julianos atm, and I like it, but I notice its not affecting Twisting path. Or shadowy image for that matter but idc about that skill. My twist does 1451 without it, and when I add it, it does 1594 damage. It's suppose to add 386 more damage, and get me to around 1837 but it's not. It says twist is magic damage so idk what the deal is. Is it a bug? Is it suppose to not be affecting for some reason? Whats the deal?

✭✭thats not how the damage calculation works at all. If you want to know how much more it is supposed to give you it is:
0.221956*386*(CP, and all other % buffs) and if you are hitting enemy then also *(enemy resistance).

That is because the scaling coefficient is really low with that skill. Meaning, compared to a similar skill, wall of elements, you will get about a 20% difference in the amount the spell damage you add scales for, IE your 143 damage increase with path using war maidens 400 spell damage, if you added 400 spell damage to your wall, it would be like an extra 171 damage on your wall, not that war maidens buffs wall. This is off set by the fact that path lasts for 11 seconds and wall lasts for 8, so you have to cast it less.
