Does furniture become acc bound once you put it into a house?

As per the title.

Returned after around 6 months away and my ESO + no longer active. So to free up some inv/bank space I'm needing to dump all the junk I bought before leaving from the luxury vendor.

No. If it is ordinary furniture which is not bound, placing it will not cause it to become bound.

(Some items are always bound, achievement furnishings, for example)

Also worth remembering, some furnishings are technically collectibles (like the Undaunted busts) and don't go into your inventory at all.

Yeah, I bought tons of stuff from the luxury vendor over the last year before i took a break and it was mostly that taking up space. Forgot how much of a pain not having a craft bag is and not having double bank space. But I'll get used to it again.

Achievement furnishings and items bought with crowns are usually account bound, crafted and bought with gold are free to do with as you like... personally, I wish furniture could be deconned for mats.

OMG yes. I would love to be able to decon furniture. I've made stuff and then it didn't work in my house the way I wanted. My options are either store in another house in case I might need it at some unspecified point in the future, sell (and a lot of furniture doesn't sell or the profit isn't enough to justify the listing), or give away. I've taken to doing the last...plop stuff down in an unused house and then tell guildies to come and pick out what they want. It'd be nice to have an option d for crafted furniture.

The crown/gold difference can catch people out, because a lot of furnishings are available for both crowns or gold, so unless you only use 1 option to buy furnishings or you're able to remember where you bought each one you'll have to check each one. It's entirely possible to have two identical furnishings where 1 is bound and 1 is not.

The funny thing is, I ended up re subbing last night. After 2 hours (2 hours of my life i'll never get back), I was struggling to even make a dent in my inventory. So decided ZoS and their inane inventory management sim won the day. Wasn't wasting another min of my life on it.
